In a warm, inviting house lived a tiny brown mouse named Mickey. He was always running around, exploring every nook and cranny.

Mickey's mother, Mama Mouse, was a wise and caring mouse. She often warned Mickey, 'Be careful, Mickey. There are dangers outside our hole.'

But Mickey, being young and adventurous, often ignored Mama Mouse's warnings. One day, he decided to venture outside their mouse hole.

Outside, he met Tommy, a large grey cat who was always on the hunt for mice. Tommy spotted Mickey and started to chase him.

Mickey ran as fast as his tiny legs could carry him. He barely managed to escape back to the safety of the mouse hole.

Mama Mouse, who had been worried sick, was relieved to see Mickey safe. 'I told you the outside world can be dangerous, Mickey,' she said.
