Once upon a time, in a small village surrounded by a dense forest, lived a kind-hearted old grandmother. She lived alone with her only niece, a little girl named Timun Mas. They lived happily in their small bamboo house.

Timun Mas was a bright and energetic child. Their peaceful life continued until one day, cries echoed from the surrounding forest. It turned out, a hungry giant named Buto Ijo had emerged, causing havoc in the village.

Buto Ijo was a greedy giant who loved to eat all kinds of food, especially vegetables. The village was filled with fear, and everyone hid to avoid becoming Buto Ijo's meal. The grandmother and Timun Mas, unwilling to see their village destroyed, felt they needed to do something.

One day, Timun Mas came up with a brilliant idea. She decided to make a trap for Buto Ijo using the abundant vegetables in their garden. Timun Mas planned to make a trap from her own giant cucumbers. She hoped that when Buto Ijo tried to eat them, they could catch the giant.

That night, Timun Mas eagerly began constructing her trap. She used the giant cucumbers she had grown and arranged them in such a way that when Buto Ijo came, he would be trapped among the cucumbers.

The next day, Buto Ijo arrived in the village and smelled the fragrant aroma of the giant cucumbers. He was immediately tempted and began eating the cucumbers one by one. As it turned out, the trap set by Timun Mas worked!

Once Buto Ijo was trapped among the giant cucumbers, Timun Mas swiftly ran towards the village to ask for the villagers' help. The villagers, who were initially scared, seeing Buto Ijo trapped, quickly gathered and brainstormed together to stop the giant.

Eventually, they managed to surround Buto Ijo and drove him out of the village. Timun Mas and her grandmother became the village's heroes, and their bravery and wit made everyone grateful. The village returned to peace, and they all learned that true power lies in courage and teamwork.

With the threat of Buto Ijo ended, Timun Mas and the villagers returned to their peaceful lives. They learned that although giants can be scary, with cleverness and bravery, they can overcome any obstacle that comes.

Now, whenever anyone in the village or beyond hears the story of Timun Mas and the giant cucumber trap, they are reminded of the power of courage, teamwork, and clever thinking. And so, they continue to live happily, knowing they can face whatever comes their way.
