Toelow's Couch Adventure
By Tammy Romandia

Toelow, the little monkey, loved to jump on the big couch in the living room. He would leap from one end to the other, giggling with delight.

Papa Monkey, noticing Toelow's antics, warned him, 'Toelow, you mustn't jump on the couch. You might fall and hurt yourself.'

Toelow, however, was too absorbed in his game to heed Papa's warning. He continued to jump and swing on the couch, laughing merrily.

Papa Monkey sighed, watching Toelow. 'Remember, I warned you, Toelow,' he said, hoping his little one would listen.

Suddenly, Toelow lost his balance and tumbled off the couch. He landed on the carpet, whimpering in pain.

Papa Monkey rushed to Toelow's side, comforting him. 'Oh, Toelow! I warned you about the dangers of jumping on the couch,' he said sadly.

Toelow, nursing his bruised knee, looked up at Papa Monkey. 'I'm sorry, Papa. I should have listened to you,' he said, regret in his voice.

'It's alright, Toelow. Just remember, it's important to be careful and listen when someone is trying to keep you safe,' Papa Monkey replied.

Days passed, and Toelow's knee healed. He looked at the couch, remembering how he had hurt himself.

Papa Monkey saw Toelow eyeing the couch. 'Remember, Toelow, no more jumping on the couch,' he reminded him.

Toelow nodded at Papa Monkey. 'I understand, Papa. I'll play safely from now on,' he promised.

From that day forward, Toelow played safely, always remembering the lesson he learned. And Papa Monkey watched, proud of his little one's growth.
