Zander sat on his bed, holding his favorite toy car. He missed playing with his dad, but he didn't understand why he couldn't see him.

Zander often asked about his dad and wondered why he couldn't see him. He felt sad when no one answered his questions about why his dad wasn't with him anymore.

One day, at the park, Zander's friend asked, 'Why doesn't your dad come to the park?' Zander didn't know how to answer.

Zander felt sad. He told his friend, 'I miss my dad.' His friend hugged him and said, 'It's okay, Zander. We all have different families.'

That night, Zander thought about his friend's words. He realized that every family is unique and that it's okay to feel sad.

Zander decided he didn't need answers from his mom. He only needed to know that his Dad loves him. Only that love mattered and knowing the love that he felt for his dad when they were together.

Zander was starting to understand that adults need to sort things out apart sometimes. It doesn't mean they love him any less.

He realized that the answers to his questions were in his heart and couldn't come from anyone else and his heart knew his dad loved him!

Zander felt a little better. He understood that his mom and dad were trying their best and that just because they are grown ups doesn't mean they have all the answers. He knew it didn't change their love for him.

Zander decided he would be understanding for his mom and dad. He knew they were doing their best.

The next day, Zander played at the park. He felt lighter, knowing that it was okay to miss his dad and that his parents loved him.

Zander felt hopeful. He knew things would get better, and he looked forward to the day he would play with his dad again.
