Wendy lived a peaceful life on the farm with Nero and her two sons. Yet, she couldn't shake off the feeling that they were living on borrowed time, escaping a past that was bound to catch up.

Her sons, Thomas and Abel, were coming of age. Thomas was bright and outgoing, while Abel was quiet and introspective. Both had an air of innocence, untouched by the harsh realities of their bloodline.

Thomas was an enthusiastic student, eager to learn and interact. Abel, on the other hand, was a loner, often getting into fights, his troubled past reflected in his actions.

Wendy and Nero worried for their sons, especially Abel. They knew they couldn't protect them forever from the secrets that lay buried in their family's past.
