In the bustling city hospital, two nurses, Shirley and Jenny, were known for their friendship. Their camaraderie was such that they were often mistaken for sisters.

However, their relationship took a turn when they both fell for the same man, Dr. Peter. He was the new, charming surgeon at the hospital who made every woman's heart flutter.

Shirley had the good fortune of attracting Dr. Peter's attention. They started dating, and soon Shirley found herself expecting his child.

Jenny, however, was secretly jealous and plotted a way to eliminate her competition. She decided to use her knowledge of hypnotism to manipulate Shirley.

Jenny offered to help Shirley with her morning sickness using hypnotism. Trusting Jenny, Shirley agreed, unknowing of Jenny's ulterior motive.

During the session, Jenny planted instructions for Shirley to go to the clinic for an abortion, sign the consent forms, and insist on anesthesia.

Jenny also instructed Shirley that once the anesthesia mask was placed on her face, she would wake from her trance but still follow the instructions.

As programmed, Shirley obediently followed her friend's instructions. She made an appointment at the clinic, signed the consent form, and asked for anesthesia.

She even told the doctor that under no circumstances should the procedure be stopped, even if she changed her mind. The doctor was taken aback but obliged.

The day of the procedure arrived. Shirley, still under the influence of the hypnotic suggestion, arrived at the clinic.

A nurse led her to the pre-operation room to get her ready. Shirley was quiet and compliant, her face a blank canvas.

The anesthesia nurse, a kind older woman, prepared the gas. She noticed Shirley's tense demeanor but didn't question it.

Shirley then walked to the operating room, her heart pounding in her chest. She lay down on the table, her mind foggy but obedient.

The mask was placed on her face. As the cool gas filled her lungs, she felt herself waking from her trance.

Yet, despite her growing clarity, she found herself unable to resist the instructions planted in her mind. She watched in silent horror as the procedure began.

Meanwhile, Jenny felt a pang of guilt. She wasn't sure if her plan would work, or if Shirley would even remember the hypnotism.

She visited Shirley after the procedure. Shirley was awake but silent, her eyes betraying a deep hurt. Jenny's guilt intensified.

Days passed, and Shirley seemed to distance herself from everyone. She quit her job at the hospital and cut off contact with Jenny.

Jenny was consumed by guilt. She confessed her actions to Dr. Peter, who was shocked and disappointed. He ended their relationship immediately.

Jenny tried to apologize to Shirley, but she wouldn't take her calls or respond to her messages. Jenny was left alone with her guilt.

Shirley, despite the pain, managed to move on. She found a new job in a different city and started her life anew.

Dr. Peter, heartbroken and disillusioned, threw himself into his work. He vowed never to let his personal life affect his professional judgment again.

Jenny was left to confront her actions. She quit her job and sought therapy. She hoped to find a way to forgive herself.

The hospital was left with a palpable void. The staff missed Shirley's warmth and Jenny's efficiency. The tale of their friendship turned sour became a cautionary tale.

In the end, the drama unfolded served as a reminder to all. It highlighted the dangers of jealousy, the power of manipulation, and the importance of trust.
