The day had started pretty normally for class 1-A. They were all gathered in their common room, some studying, some chatting, and others simply relaxing. It was a rare peaceful moment.

Suddenly, the tranquillity was broken by the frantic knocking at the door. Everyone turned to see a panicked Denki Kaminari, out of breath and looking terrified.

"What-" Aizawa began, his usual stoic expression replaced by one of surprise as he opened the door. Kaminari cut him off before he could finish.

"Hi, I ran over a cat and I was wondering if it was yours," Kaminari blurted out, his voice trembling. Aizawa just stared at him, his face unreadable.

Aizawa finally responded, "...Well, what did it look like?" Kaminari, instead of answering, dropped to the floor and played dead. This left everyone stunned and confused.

"Kaminari, what are you doing?" Kirishima asked, trying to suppress his laughter. Kaminari slowly rose from the floor, his face flushed with embarrassment.

"I'm... I'm showing you what the cat looked like," Kaminari mumbled, avoiding everyone's gaze. The room erupted with laughter, even Aizawa couldn't help but smirk.

"Alright, let's go find this cat," Aizawa finally said, trying to regain his composure. The class quickly got ready, excited by the unexpected adventure.

Aizawa led the way, with Kaminari hesitantly guiding them to where he had last seen the cat. The atmosphere was tense but filled with anticipation.

They reached the spot, but there was no sign of the cat. Kaminari started panicking again, "What if it ran away? What if it's hurt?"

"Let's not jump to conclusions," Midoriya tried to calm Kaminari down. He then suggested, "Let's split up and search. It might still be around."

They agreed, and soon the area was filled with students calling out for the cat. Todoroki and Bakugou, despite their usual rivalry, ended up searching together.

Amid the chaos, Koda, who had the ability to talk to animals, tried to communicate with the local birds. He hoped they might have seen the cat.

Meanwhile, Jiro used her earphone jacks to listen for any unusual sounds. Sato and Sero, on the other hand, prepared some food to lure the cat.

As they searched, they began to find traces of the cat. Aizawa picked up a bell that looked like it could be from a collar. This gave them hope.

Suddenly, they heard a soft meow from a nearby alley. They rushed towards the sound, only to find a small, stray kitten, not Aizawa's cat.

Disappointed, they were about to leave when the kitten started following them. Seeing this, Uraraka couldn't resist and decided to adopt the kitten.

As they continued their search, they discovered more stray animals following them. Soon, they had a small parade of animals trailing behind them.

After hours of searching, they returned to the dorms, disheartened. Suddenly, Aizawa broke into a smile. His cat was sitting on the dorm's steps, looking nonplussed.

"There you are," Aizawa said, picking up his cat. The cat just purred and rubbed its head against Aizawa's hand, oblivious to the day's adventure.

Kaminari sighed in relief, "So it wasn't your cat I ran over..." Aizawa just shook his head, "No, but next time, be more careful."

With the cat safely back, the students returned to their normal routine. But, the day's events had brought them closer, and they all shared a laugh about their adventure.

That night, as they all sat together, a soft meow could be heard. It was the kitten, now named 'Mochi', finding its new home in the 1-A dormitory.

And so, the curious case of Aizawa's cat ended, leaving behind a delightful memory. Little did they know, this was just the beginning of their many adventures to come.
