In the realm of Ethereal, two powerful dragons, Ignis and Glacius, held sway over the land. These dragons were no ordinary beasts; they were gods, capable of creation and destruction.

They held a peculiar disdain for mortals, considering them as insignificant and unworthy of the world they inhabited. Their decision was swift and ruthless; they wiped out all mortals.

In the place of mortals, the dragons brought forth their godly children. Each dragon bore two offspring, each embodying their parents' elemental essence.

Ignis's children, Fira and Sol, were born of fire and sun. Glacius's children, Luna and Nix, were born of moonlight and frost.

The children, left to their own devices, began to explore the world they were to inherit. Each was drawn to places that reflected their elemental nature.

Fira and Sol roamed the volcanic lands, shaping and molding the earth with their fiery breath. Luna and Nix explored the frozen tundra, their frosty breath creating intricate patterns on the ice.

As the dragon godlings grew, they started to sense something was amiss. There was an imbalance in the world, a void that they could not fill.

They questioned their parents, seeking answers. Ignis and Glacius admitted that in their disdain for mortals, they might have upset the balance.

The godlings, realizing the gravity of their parents' actions, decided to restore the balance. They sought to bring back the mortals, but how?

Luna, the most thoughtful, proposed to use their godly powers to resurrect the mortals. But the task was not as simple as it seemed.

They needed a relic, the 'Mortal Stone', to restore life. This stone was hidden in the mortal realm, a realm they could not access.

They turned to their parents, asking for help. Ignis and Glacius, feeling guilty, agreed to assist in their quest.

The dragons opened a portal to the mortal realm. The godlings, steeling themselves, stepped through it, embarking on a mission to resurrect the mortals.

The mortal realm was a desolate wasteland, a haunting reminder of the dragons' fury. They began their search, determined to locate the Mortal Stone.

Their journey was fraught with perils. They encountered strange creatures, remnants of the dragons' wrath, and navigated treacherous landscapes.

Despite their struggles, the godlings found unity in their shared purpose. They learned to rely on each other, their bonds growing stronger with each challenge.

After countless trials, they finally located the Mortal Stone. It was nestled deep within a mountain, glowing with a soft, inviting light.

As they touched the stone, it pulsed with life. The godlings could feel its immense power, the potential to breathe life back into the mortal world.

With the Mortal Stone in their possession, the godlings returned to Ethereal. Their hearts were filled with hope but their task was far from over.

They gathered in a sacred grove, placing the Mortal Stone in the center. Luna led the ritual, her voice echoing through the silence of the forest.

As Luna's incantations filled the air, the stone began to glow, radiating a warm, life-giving light. The godlings felt a surge of energy, their powers intensifying.

Suddenly, figures began to materialize around the stone. Mortals, in all their diversity, returned to life. They looked around in confusion, but also with gratitude.

Among the resurrected was an elder named Caelum. He was wise and respected, with a commanding presence. The godlings felt a connection with him.

Caelum, recognizing the divine beings, knelt before them. He thanked the godlings for their mercy and pledged to guide the mortals wisely.

The godlings, humbled by Caelum's gratitude, promised to protect the mortal world, ensuring its balance. Thus began a new era of harmony in Ethereal.

Ignis and Glacius, watching from afar, felt a sense of pride for their children. They had not only corrected their parents' mistake but also forged a new path.

The dragons now understood the value of mortals. Their children had taught them a valuable lesson - that every creature had a place in the world's balance.

And so, Ethereal flourished under the watchful eyes of the dragons and their godlings. Mortals and gods coexisted, ensuring the balance of life and the realm.
