Marinette Dupain-Cheng was not a stranger to the absurd. But when things started floating around in her family bakery, she knew something was awry.

She watched as a baguette hover in the mid-air before darting across the room. With a gulp, she accepted the inevitable – her bakery was haunted.

Knowing she couldn't handle this alone, Marinette called in a team of paranormal investigators she found online. They promised quick results.

When they arrived, they were nothing like Marinette expected. A motley crew of colorful characters, all confident in their abilities to handle ghosts.

For extra support, she also called on her superhero companion Cat Noir. He was as surprised as her but was eager to help.

Together, they began the investigation. Cat Noir was obviously excited, his eyes sparkling with curiosity and a touch of fear.

One by one, the investigators used their tools, taking readings, scanning rooms, but came up with nothing. They seemed perplexed and worried.

Marinette felt a pang of disappointment. Her hopes of a quick resolution were dwindling, but she didn't give up.

Suddenly, a loud crash echoed from the kitchen. Marinette and Cat Noir rushed in, followed by the investigators.

They found a tray of freshly baked croissants floating in the air. The investigators' machines started beeping wildly as they captured the activity.

Suddenly, the pastries flew in all directions, causing everyone to duck. Among the chaos, Cat Noir smirked, "Well, this is crumby."

After the initial shock, the investigation resumed with renewed vigor. The team worked into the night, trying to communicate with the unseen entity.

Cat Noir, despite his playful demeanor, was serious and attentive. Marinette appreciated his assistance and his reassurances kept her calm.

By the early morning, they finally managed to establish contact. The ghost was a former baker, named Pierre, who believed he still owed a debt to the bakery.

Pierre, it turned out, had a final recipe he wished to pass on. He'd been trying to catch her attention, albeit in a frightening manner.

Marinette was touched by Pierre's dedication and assured him that she would carry on his legacy. Pierre's ghost finally found peace and left the bakery.

Following the paranormal encounter, Marinette made Pierre's recipe. The bread turned out to be delicious and became the talk of the town.

Cat Noir tasted the new addition and complimented Marinette on her baking skills, adding an extra layer of satisfaction to her success.

The paranormal team left, pleased with the resolution. Marinette's initial apprehension turned into a fond memory, albeit a spookily sweet one.

As for Cat Noir, he became a regular at the bakery, always eager to try the new recipes Marinette baked, especially the ghostly pastries.

The haunted bakery became a popular spot among the locals, and business was booming. Marinette couldn't be happier with the unexpected result of the ghostly visit.

But every once in a while, when the wind howled and the night was dark, Marinette would remember the ghostly baker and smile, grateful for his spectral gift.

And Cat Noir, always the joker, would pop in with a bag of flour, claiming it to be 'ghostly dust,' much to Marinette's amusement.

In the end, the haunting episode taught Marinette that sometimes, the most unexpected situations can lead to the most delightful results.

Even though it was scary, Marinette was glad for the ghostly encounter. The bakery was thriving, and she had a new story to tell, a tale of 'Ghostly Pastries.'
