Before setting off, Momotaro's grandmother provided him with kibi-dango, a type of dumpling made from millet. She told him that these magical dumplings could summon allies in times of need.

Finally, they reached the chamber where the demon king resided. The demon king was a terrifying creature, with eyes that glowed like coals and a voice that rumbled like thunder. It was the greatest challenge they had faced yet.

Despite their fears, Momotaro and his friends stood their ground. The dog bit the demon, the monkey scratched it, and the pheasant pecked its eyes. All the while, Momotaro fought valiantly with his sword, driving the demon back.

With each strike, the demon king weakened. The combined efforts of Momotaro and his friends were too much for the demon. With a final slash of Momotaro's sword, the demon king was defeated.
