In the prosperous kingdom of Berbanya, King Fernando fell ill. His wife, Queen Valeriana, and their kingdom were deeply worried about the king's mysterious sickness.

Their three sons, Don Pedro, Don Diego, and Don Juan, decided to embark on a quest to find the mystical Adarna bird, whose song was said to heal any illness.

Don Pedro, the eldest prince, was the first to set out on the quest. Months passed, but he did not return, leaving the kingdom in a state of heightened worry.

Next, Don Diego, the middle prince, ventured out in search of the Adarna bird. Like his elder brother, he too failed to return, further deepening the kingdom's despair.

Despite the risks, Don Juan, the youngest prince, decided to undertake the quest. On his journey, he met an old hermit who gave him a magical rope and advice on how to catch the Adarna bird.

After a long and arduous journey, Don Juan reached Mount Tabor, where he spotted the Adarna bird singing its magical song. Using the magical rope, he managed to stay awake and capture the bird.

Don Juan returned to Berbanya with the Adarna bird. The bird sang in front of King Fernando, and miraculously, the king was cured of his illness.

Despite Don Juan's success, his brothers were envious of him. They plotted against him, intending to leave him stranded in the forest.

However, with the help of the old hermit, Don Juan managed to return to the palace and expose his brothers' evil plans.

King Fernando forgave his older sons and praised Don Juan for his bravery and kindness, making him a symbol of courage and family love in Berbanya.

From then on, Don Juan's tale of courage, kindness, and family love, along with the legend of the Adarna bird, was passed down from one generation to the next.

Thus, the legend of the Adarna bird and the brave prince Don Juan became a timeless tale, a symbol of hope, courage, and the power of family love.
