In a realm above us, lived the Sun, the Moon, and the Wind. Although they were siblings, their personalities differed vastly. The Sun and the Wind were selfish, while the Moon was kind and caring.

Their mother, a distant Star, waited for her children's return from an adventurous journey. The Sun and the Wind, lost in their fun, forgot to bring back a gift for their mother. But the Moon, the ever so gentle, brought back a piece of every delicacy he came across for his mother.

Upon their return, the Star Mother asked them about the gifts they had brought for her. The Sun and the Wind admitted they had brought nothing, while the Moon presented a feast he had saved for her.

Angered by the Sun's selfishness, the Star Mother cursed her. She proclaimed that the Sun's rays would be hot and scorching, causing discomfort to anyone who came into contact. That's why, till this day, the Sun is hot and scorching.

The Wind too faced the Star Mother's wrath. She cursed the Wind to blow hot in summers and freezing in winters, making humans fear it. And that's why people dread the extreme winds.
