Gideon, Elias, and Cedric Peverell found themselves on a lonely, winding road deep within the Forbidden Forest.

The air around them crackled with ancient magic, and the trees whispered secrets. They reached a treacherous river, posing a deadly dilemma.

The brothers, relying on their combined magic, conjured a sturdy bridge across the river, defying the seemingly inevitable danger.

Midway across the bridge, a hooded figure materialized before them. It was Death himself, enraged by their clever evasion of his trap.

Rather than displaying wrath, Death chose to congratulate the brothers on their resourcefulness, offering them each a gift of their choosing.

Each brother, in turn, made their wish. Gideon asked for an unbeatable wand, Elias for the power to resurrect, and Cedric for an item to hide him from Death.

Death granted their wishes, bestowing upon them the Elder Wand, the Resurrection Stone, and the Invisibility Cloak, before vanishing into thin air.

Equipped with their new gifts, the brothers continued their journey, unaware of the consequences their wishes would bring upon them.

As they delved deeper into the forest, their gifts began to reveal their true nature, altering the course of their lives forever.

Gideon, wielding the Elder Wand, grew arrogant and was slain. Elias, using the Resurrection Stone, fell into despair and took his own life.

Cedric, left alone, understood the curse of their gifts. He lived a long life under the protection of the Invisibility Cloak, hiding from Death.

When he was old and had lived a full life, Cedric gave his cloak to his son, greeted Death as an old friend, and went with him willingly.
