    The First Man, a shepherd by trade, found himself trapped in a cave with his companions. He recalled a selfless act he had done for his parents, hoping it would save them.

    He beseeched the Almighty, recounting the night he withheld milk from his family to ensure his sleeping parents could drink first when they awoke. The rock budged slightly, but they remained trapped.

    Seeing the rock's movement, the Second Man decided to recount his deed. He had once been tempted to exploit a desperate woman he loved, but his conscience had prevailed.

    He narrated his story to the Almighty, pleading for mercy and redemption. Once again, the rock moved slightly, but their exit remained blocked.

    Encouraged, the Third Man shared his tale. He had been a rich employer who had gone beyond his duty to repay a worker's lost wages.

    He told his tale to the Almighty, asking for deliverance. The rock finally shifted enough, and they were able to escape, their faith in the power of righteousness stronger than ever.
