My name is Grace, and I'm a regular ten-year-old girl. My life was mostly ordinary until my friend, Aaron, revealed his secret. We always knew Aaron's dad was strict, but we never knew why.

One sunny afternoon, Aaron sneaked out of his house and came to mine. We were jumping on the trampoline with our other best friend, Salish.

Aaron seemed worried and out of breath. He told us that his dad was sending him away to a werewolf boarding school because he was going to turn into a werewolf!

We laughed at first, thinking he was joking. But Aaron's serious face made us realize that this was no laughing matter. He was really going away.

A few weeks later, Aaron disappeared from school. His house was locked up, and his dad wouldn't answer any of our questions. I missed him more than I could have imagined.

Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. We heard rumors about Aaron sneaking out of the werewolf school, but nobody knew where he was.

One fateful night, Aaron showed up at my window. He was different - bigger, stronger, and with an aura of danger around him. But his eyes were the same, full of warmth and friendship.

Aaron told us about his life at the school, how he was now a werewolf and the risks it carried. But he reassured us that he would never hurt us.

Just when we thought things would go back to normal, the cops found him. They took him back to the school, and we were left behind again.

As we grew older, our hope of meeting Aaron again faded. We entered high school, but the hole Aaron left in our lives never filled.

Then, one day, Aaron's dad approached me. He looked different, older. He said it was time for Aaron and me to meet again.

I felt a surge of emotions. I was excited, nervous, and a little scared. But more than anything, I was happy. Happy that I was going to see Aaron again.

The next day, I found myself standing in front of the grand gates of the werewolf school. I was about to enter a world I knew nothing about.

Inside, I saw Aaron waiting for me. He looked different, all grown up. But his smile was the same, and I felt a warmth spread through me.

Aaron asked me out on a date. I was surprised, but I said yes. I was looking forward to spending time with him, even if it was in a werewolf school.

Life at the werewolf school was different, but not bad. I got to see Aaron every day, and we became even closer. I was happy, and I knew Aaron was too.

Salish was also happy for us. She missed Aaron, but she was glad that we were together again. She was a true friend, always there for us.

As time passed, I realized that my feelings for Aaron were more than just friendship. I was in love with him, and I hoped he felt the same way.

One night, under the full moon, Aaron told me he loved me too. It was the happiest moment of my life. We promised to always be there for each other, no matter what.

We faced many challenges together, but our bond only grew stronger. We were not just friends anymore, we were a team, ready to face anything together.

Even though Aaron was a werewolf and I was a human, it didn't matter to us. We accepted each other for who we were, and that made our relationship stronger.

Years later, we still remember those days with fondness. Our friendship, our adventures, our love. They made us who we are today.

Aaron and I are now married. We live in the werewolf school, helping young werewolves control their powers. It's a challenging job, but we love it.

Salish is now a famous writer. She writes stories about our adventures, spreading the message of friendship and acceptance. We couldn't be prouder of her.

Looking back, I'm grateful for everything. For Aaron's secret, for his dad's decision, for the werewolf school. They led me to a life I could never have imagined.

And most importantly, I'm grateful for Aaron. For his bravery, his friendship, his love. He changed my life in ways I could never have predicted.

Our story is a reminder that life can take unexpected turns. But with courage, friendship, and love, we can overcome anything. That's the promise of the werewolf.

I'm proud of who we've become. We're not just werewolves or humans. We're friends, partners, a family. And that's the most beautiful thing.

As I look at Aaron, I see the ten-year-old boy who sneaked out of his house to play with his friends. I see the love of my life. And I feel grateful.

So here's to us, to our journey, to our friendship. Here's to the werewolf's promise, that no matter what life throws at us, we'll face it together.
