After the battle with Ultron, Thor found himself caught in an unexpected situation. With the city in ruins, he had one final task that needed his immediate attention.

Watching all this from a distance, Tony Stark couldn't help but chuckle. He found Thor's predicament amusing and waited to see how the god of thunder would handle it.

Without any delay, Thor went to the elevator and placed his mighty hammer, Mjolnir, on the elevator's floor. He then punched the button for the 20th floor.

As the elevator doors closed, Tony's laughter echoed in the empty hallway. The thought of Thor experimenting with an elevator amused him.

Thor ignored Tony's laughter. His facial expression remained stern as he watched the elevator ascend. He had a theory and he intended to test it.

As the elevator ascended to the 20th floor, Tony's curiosity started to pique. He wondered about the reason behind Thor's strange experiment.

Thor waited patiently for the elevator to reach the 20th floor. He suspected that the outcome would prove his theory about his mighty hammer.

Tony finally broke his silence. "Care to explain what we're waiting for, Thunder God?" He asked, trying to hide his curiosity.

Thor turned to Tony and said, "We shall see shortly." He calmly watched the numbers light up as the elevator ascended.

As the elevator reached the 20th floor, the doors opened. Mjolnir sat undisturbed, just as Thor had placed it.

Tony's eyes widened as the elevator doors reopened. "How is that possible?" He exclaimed, completely taken aback by the sight.

Thor just smiled. "Only those who are worthy can lift Mjolnir," he stated, "and no, an elevator is not worthy."

Tony laughed, feeling partly amused and partly amazed. "So, the hammer knows its master. Not bad," he admitted.

Thor then walked to the elevator, lifted Mjolnir, and placed it back in his belt. "Now let us clean this mess," he stated.

Tony, still chuckling, shook his head and followed Thor. "Never a dull moment with you around," he remarked.

As they began their clean-up, Thor felt a sense of accomplishment. His final test had validated his faith in Mjolnir.

Tony was still bemused by the elevator experiment. It was unconventional, but it offered a unique perspective on Thor's power.

Despite the amusement, Thor and Tony worked tirelessly to clear the rubble. The city slowly began to regain its structure.

Amidst ruins and rubble, their camaraderie shone through. The ultimate challenge was indeed a test of their determination, not their strength.

By dusk, the city was finally at peace. The sun set behind the skyscrapers, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink.

In the silence of the evening, they paused to admire their handiwork. The city was safe, and so were its people.

Thor finally looked at Tony. "This was the final test. Not for Mjolnir, but for us," he stated, his voice solemn.

Tony nodded silently, understanding the depth of Thor's words. They had indeed passed the ultimate test of resilience and perseverance.

The evening had started with amusement and ended in reflection. The day's events had proven that they were more than just superheroes.

In the grand scheme of things, the elevator and Mjolnir were just props. The real test had been their spirit, willpower, and resolve.

As night fell, they departed, knowing that they had proved themselves worthy, not in battle, but in their actions post-battle.

It wasn't about lifting the hammer or defeating villains. Instead, it was about standing up and shouldering responsibilities, even when everything seemed lost.

The city, though scarred, stood tall. The heroes, though tired, stood proud. They had faced the ultimate challenge and had emerged stronger than before.

And so, Thor's final test had been more than just an experiment with Mjolnir. It had been a test of their character, their spirit, and ultimately, their humanity.

As they parted ways, they carried with them a renewed sense of purpose. They were more than superheroes; they were comrades, builders, and protectors.

That night, the city slept peacefully, knowing that its heroes were watching over it. Tony Stark and Thor had passed their ultimate test.

As the dawn of a new day approached, the city rose, just like its heroes, more resilient and stronger than before. The ultimate challenge had been faced and surpassed.

Thor's final test had thus ended; it was not just a proof of their physical strength but a testament to their character, perseverance, and an unyielding spirit.

With every test, they grew, and with every challenge, they transcended, defining their legacy not just as superheroes, but as true champions of humanity.

In the grand theatre of life, they were the heroes we needed. And indeed, they were worthy.
