In this grandeur, lived Archimedes, a celebrated scientist, known for his wit and love for complex problems.

One day, the king presented Archimedes with a challenge to determine if his crown was pure gold without damaging it.

Archimedes pondered over the problem for days, staring at the crown and his tools, but couldn't figure out a solution.

One day, while taking a bath, Archimedes observed something peculiar. As he stepped into the tub, water spilled over the sides.

Suddenly, a lightbulb went off in his head. He realized the volume of water displaced was equal to his body volume.

Eureka! Archimedes jumped out of the bath, ran through the streets, shouting his discovery to everyone.

He rushed to the king's palace, explaining how he could use this principle to determine the purity of the crown.

With the king's permission, Archimedes submerged the crown in water and measured the displaced water volume.

He then weighed the crown and compared the measurements to an equal weight of pure gold.

His calculations proved that the crown's volume was different from that of pure gold, meaning it wasn't pure.

The king was astounded by Archimedes' ingenuity and praised him for his intelligence and creativity.

Thus, Archimedes, with his love for problem-solving, managed to solve the king's challenge using a simple bathtub!
