Crazy Dave took positions with Cactus and Starfruit, hoping their long-range attacks would compensate for the fog. Their heartbeats echoed in the silent night, anticipating the horror to come.

Suddenly, the Basic Zombies emerged from the fog. Their groans sent chills down Dave's spine as the plants started their defense.

Crazy Dave's eyes widened as Balloon Zombies appeared, floating above the ground. Quick to react, Cactus aimed her spikes at the balloons, popping them instantly.

Suddenly, the eerie tune of a Jack in the Box Zombie echoed. The plants braced themselves as the jack in the box exploded, injuring several plants.

In the chaos, Crazy Dave planted Doom-shroom. As a last resort, Doom-shroom exploded with a powerful blast, obliterating many zombies.

As the fog lifted, a monstrous figure emerged: the Zombie Yeti. It hurled snowballs and icicles, causing havoc amongst the plants.

Crazy Dave, Sunflower, Cactus, and Starfruit fought valiantly against the Yeti, their combined efforts slowly weakening the beast.

Puff-shroom and Sea-shroom joined the battle, their spores causing continuous damage to the Yeti. Crazy Dave could see the tide turning.

Seeing the Yeti weakened, Crazy Dave made his move. He signaled Doom-shroom to prepare for another explosion. The tension was palpable.

With a loud groan, Doom-shroom exploded, taking the Yeti down with it. The backyard fell silent, the night returning to its peaceful state.

Crazy Dave sighed with relief, his brain and backyard safe once again. Despite the night's terror, he knew they would be ready for whatever came next.
