In the gloomy town of Gravestone, a young girl named Emily lived. One day, she found herself trapped in a haunted house. The eerie silence was soon broken by a strange, ghoulish laughter.

Suddenly, a group of zombies emerged from the darkness. They were not like the typical brain-eating zombies. Instead, they aimed to tickle Emily.

Emily felt a wave of terror wash over her as the zombies advanced. She had to find a way to escape before they could reach her.

She spotted a window and quickly climbed onto a table to reach it. However, the zombies were closing in on her. She could feel their cold, bony fingers reaching for her.

Just as she was about to open the window, a zombie grabbed her ankle, causing her to stumble. She screamed as the zombie started tickling her foot.

Struggling, she managed to kick the zombie away and jumped out of the window. She landed on the soft grass outside, her heart pounding in her chest.

However, her relief was short-lived as she saw more zombies approaching her from all directions. She had to think quickly to evade them.

Emily spotted a rusty old bike nearby. Without wasting a second, she hopped on it and pedaled away as fast as she could.

The zombies chased her, but they were too slow to catch up. She could hear their frustrated groans fading into the distance.

Emily didn't stop until she reached her house. Panting heavily, she locked the door behind her and slumped to the ground, relieved.

But just as she thought she was safe, she heard a familiar ghoulish laughter. Turning around, she saw a zombie standing in her living room.

Frozen in fear, Emily watched as the zombie slowly walked towards her. She had nowhere to run. The zombie reached out its hand and started tickling her.

Emily started laughing uncontrollably. The tickling sensation was too much for her to handle. She tried to push the zombie away, but it was too strong.

Just when she thought it was the end, she remembered something. Her grandmother's tales of how laughter could repel evil spirits.

Gathering her strength, Emily forced herself to laugh louder. To her surprise, the zombie started to back away, seemingly frightened by her laughter.

Encouraged, Emily laughed even harder. The zombie retreated further, its creepy smile fading into a look of confusion.

Suddenly, the zombie vanished into thin air, leaving only its ragged clothes behind. Emily couldn't believe her eyes. Her laughter had truly driven the zombie away.

Excited, Emily ran to the window. The zombies outside were still approaching her house. She took a deep breath and started laughing loudly.

One by one, the zombies started disappearing just like the one inside her house. Emily's laughter echoed through the quiet town, driving away all the zombies.

After what seemed like an eternity, Emily finally stopped laughing. She looked around and saw no sign of the zombies. She had done it. She had saved herself.

Emily felt a sense of relief wash over her. She was safe now. The tickling zombies were gone, and she was finally free.

Tired but victorious, Emily fell asleep on the couch, her laughter still echoing in her dreams. She had faced her fears and won.

The next morning, Emily woke up and found the town of Gravestone back to its normal gloomy self. The haunted house was empty, and there was no sign of the zombies.

Emily smiled, knowing she had defeated the tickling zombies with her laughter. From that day forward, she was no longer afraid of the dark or the unknown.

Emily's story spread throughout Gravestone, inspiring others to face their fears. And if ever there were whispers of zombies, they were met with laughter instead of fear.

Years later, Emily would remember the night of the tickling zombies. She would tell the tale to her children and grandchildren, teaching them the power of laughter.

And so, the story of the girl and the tickling zombies lived on, reminding everyone in Gravestone that sometimes, laughter truly is the best defence.
