It was a typical night in Gotham City, dark and foreboding. The city was asleep, but not everyone was. In a nondescript building, Nina Damfino, code name Echo, was meticulously checking her equipment.

Her girlfriend, Deidre Vance, known as Query, was going over the plan once more with their boss, Riddler. The dim light from the table lamp cast long shadows on the blueprint of the bank they were about to rob.

"Remember, we need to be in and out in less than five minutes," Riddler instructed, pointing at the map with a gloved hand. Nina nodded, her face serious.

Nina had a nagging feeling in her gut, a sense of unease. But she chose to keep it to herself. The trio had no other choice; they were broke and still nursing injuries from their last encounter with Batman.

The following day, they executed their plan. Dressed in black, Nina parked their getaway car in an alley near the bank. Deidre and Riddler walked into the bank, their faces hidden under masks.

Inside, Deidre and Riddler executed their roles perfectly, scaring the tellers into handing over the money. They filled their bags with cash and made their way back to the entrance.

Suddenly, a dark figure descended from above, landing right in front of them. It was Batman. His arrival sent a wave of panic throughout the bank.

A fight ensued. Batman was quick, but Deidre and Riddler managed to hold him off. Meanwhile, Nina's gut feeling grew stronger, her hands gripping the steering wheel tighter.

Deidre and Riddler managed to escape the bank and ran towards the alley where Nina was waiting. Batman was hot on their heels, his cape billowing in the wind.

As they neared the car, Riddler slipped on a patch of ice, dropping some of the money. Deidre stopped to help him, but Batman was closing in.

"Leave it!" Nina shouted, revving the engine. But it was too late. Batman reached them and a struggle ensued. Nina watched helplessly from the car.

Suddenly, Deidre managed to free herself and Riddler from Batman's grip. They sprinted towards the car, jumping in just as Nina hit the gas.

They sped away, leaving Batman behind. But they hadn't escaped unscathed. Riddler was bleeding from a cut on his head, and Deidre's arm was injured.

"We should've waited," Nina muttered, her eyes glued to the rearview mirror. Batman's silhouette was getting smaller, but she knew he would come after them.

Back at their hideout, they counted the money. It was less than they had hoped for, but it would be enough to keep them afloat for a while.

As Deidre bandaged Riddler's wound, Nina sat in a corner, her mind racing. She knew they had to be more careful in the future. Batman was always watching.

"Next time, we do something less risky," Nina said finally, looking at Deidre and Riddler. "No more banks. Not until we're fully healed, at least."

Riddler nodded, a rare moment of agreement. They had barely escaped this time. They needed time to recover and plan their next move carefully.

Despite the setback, Nina felt a sense of relief wash over her. They were safe, for now. She glanced at Deidre, who gave her a reassuring smile.

"We'll lay low for a while," Deidre said, wrapping an arm around Nina. "And when we're ready, we'll show Gotham that we're not to be messed with."

As they settled into their hideout, the sirens in the distance grew fainter. They were out of danger, at least for the time being. The Gotham's Grand Heist had taken an unexpected turn, but they had survived.

Nina knew that they were far from done. Their life of crime was a dangerous game, and the stakes were always high. But as long as they had each other, they would face whatever came their way.

The trio knew they had to be more careful. Batman was always one step ahead. But they were not going to be deterred. They were survivors, and they would continue to fight.

As they drifted off to sleep, the city of Gotham continued its restless slumber. In the shadows, the trio plotted and planned, ready to take on the challenges of another day.

Echo and Query, under the command of Riddler, were still at large. And while they had suffered a setback, they were not defeated. Gotham's underbelly remained their playground, their battlefield.

Nina looked at Deidre and Riddler, her partners in crime, her family. They had taken on Batman and lived to tell the tale. They had come out stronger, more determined.

Tomorrow was another day, another challenge. But for now, they were safe. In the darkness of their hideout, beneath the watchful eyes of Gotham, they found solace in their shared struggle.

Nina, Deidre, and Riddler were more than just criminals. They were survivors, fighters. And as long as they had each other, they would continue to defy the odds, to challenge Batman, to make their mark on Gotham.

As the night deepened, the trio rested, gathering their strength for what lay ahead. They had survived the Gotham's Grand Heist, but they knew their battle was far from over.

The city of Gotham continued its sleep, oblivious to the stories unfolding in its shadows. But for Echo, Query, and Riddler, the night was just the beginning.

Their story was a testament to survival, to determination. They had faced Batman and lived. They had pulled off a heist and survived. And they would continue to do so, one night at a time.

As the dawn approached, the city of Gotham stirred. And in a nondescript building, three figures plotted their next move, ready to once again challenge the city that never slept.

Nina, Deidre, and Riddler had survived the night, but they knew the day would bring new challenges. Yet, they were ready. For they were Echo, Query, and Riddler, and they would not be defeated.

They were the underdogs, the misfits. But they were also fighters, survivors. And as long as they had each other, they were ready to face whatever Gotham, or Batman, threw their way.

The city of Gotham awoke to another day, unaware of the stories unfolding in its shadows. But for Echo, Query, and Riddler, the tale was just beginning. And they were ready.
