Shaggy, like Scooby, was already scared. He mumbled, 'Like, are you sure this is a good idea, guys?'

Fred, undeterred by the mansion's eerie atmosphere, led the group further inside. 'Let's split up and look for clues,' he suggested.

Daphne agreed with Fred's plan and decided to explore the upper floors with him, while Scooby and Shaggy were left to explore the ground floor.

Scared out of their wits, Scooby and Shaggy ran screaming out of the basement, alerting the rest of the gang.

Meanwhile, Fred, Daphne, and Velma discovered a secret room in the library. Velma picked up a clue, a piece of cloth from the ghost's robe.

Velma analyzed the cloth and realized it was made of a material commonly used in costumes. 'Guys, I think this ghost might be a fake,' she announced.

With Velma's revelation, the gang decided to set a trap for the ghost. They used Scooby and Shaggy as bait, who reluctantly agreed.
