Miho Nishizumi, a soft-spoken girl with her camcorder, started recording the unfolding drama. Kevin Stewart, a usually calm guy, was fuming with anger, accusing someone of eating his candy corn.

He pointed accusingly at his roommate, Momo Kawashima, who was sitting innocently on their couch. "You ate my candy corn, didn't you?" he demanded.

Momo denied the accusation. She suggested that perhaps Akeno Misaki, their other roommate, might have taken them.

Kevin, however, dismissed her claim outright, stating that Akeno wasn't even home. His frustration was growing by the minute.

He stormed back into the kitchen, only to discover a new crime. Someone had been biting the ends off his candy corn. This sent him into a new fit of rage.

"The taste is the same! Why would someone do this?" he ranted, tossing the bag into the trash. His anger was palpable as he stormed back into the living room.

He picked up his shoes from the floor and threw them at Momo, who ducked just in time. The tension in the room was escalating.

Kevin noticed Miho still recording and demanded she stop. But Miho, sensing that this could turn into a major mystery, continued filming.

Kevin's patience finally snapped. He grabbed Miho's school uniform collar and shook her, yelling at her to turn off the camcorder.

Suddenly, Momo jumped up from the couch, standing between Kevin and Miho. She shouted at Kevin to calm down and let go of Miho.

Kevin released Miho, his anger subsiding a bit. Momo then suggested they all look for clues to find out who was really eating the candy corn.

Kevin agreed reluctantly, still seething but willing to uncover the culprit. They began their investigation, starting from the living room.

As they searched, Miho noticed a trail of candy corn crumbs leading to the kitchen. She pointed it out to Kevin and Momo who followed it eagerly.

The trail led them to a small hole in the corner of the kitchen. Kevin knelt down to inspect it, his face growing pale as he realized what it meant.

"We have mice," he declared, looking at Miho and Momo with a grim expression. The mystery of the missing candy corn had taken an unexpected turn.

Momo chuckled, relieved that the culprit was not one of them. Kevin, however, did not find the situation amusing. He was still upset about his ruined candy corn.

Miho, on the other hand, was thrilled. She had captured the entire investigation on her camcorder, making for a gripping mystery story.

The next day, they called a pest control service to handle their mouse problem. Kevin watched as they worked, hoping this would end his candy corn issues.

That evening, Kevin bought a new bag of candy corn. He kept it in a sealed container, safe from any future mouse attacks.

Miho, meanwhile, edited her footage into a short film. She titled it "The Mystery of the Missing Candy Corn" and shared it with her friends.

Momo found the entire incident amusing. She teased Kevin about his candy corn obsession, making him blush. The tension in the house had finally eased.

Akeno returned home later that night. She was surprised to hear about the candy corn mystery and their little mouse problem.

She watched Miho's film and laughed at the dramatic investigation. She promised to buy Kevin a new bag of candy corn as an apology for not being there.

In the end, the candy corn mystery brought the roommates closer. They shared a good laugh and learned to handle problems together.

From then on, any time a bag of candy corn appeared in the house, they all remembered the mystery and smiled. It was a memory they would cherish.
