In the realm of Morpheus, the world is shaped by dreams and nightmares. Here, the lines between reality and fantasy blur as dream weavers and nightmare hunters vie for control over the minds of mortals.

Enter the mystical city of Letherna, built on the edge of the Dreaming Sea. This is where dreams and nightmares merge, and the most valuable currency is the elements of human imagination.

You are a dream weaver, a powerful figure capable of shaping the thoughts and emotions of mortals as they sleep. As a member of the Conclave of Weavers, your task is to trade and collect elements of dreams and nightmares, seeking to create the most potent illusions.

The game of Jaipur: Morpheus Edition is for 2-6 players, aged 10 and up. Each player takes on the role of a dream weaver or a nightmare hunter, working to influence the subconscious of mortals and clear the realm of unwanted dreams.

To set up, shuffle the deck of Dream Cards, consisting of six types of elements: Whispers of Hope, Echoes of Joy, Tendrils of Fear, Shards of Despair, Fragments of Love, and Shadows of Hatred.

Place five Dream Cards face up in the center of the table, creating the Dreaming Bazaar. Each player is dealt a hand of five Dream Cards, which they keep hidden from their opponents.

On each turn, players have three actions to choose from: acquire a dream element from the Dreaming Bazaar, exchange one or more dream elements with the Bazaar, or unveil a dream or nightmare to collect Dream Points.

To acquire a dream element, simply take one face-up Dream Card from the Bazaar and replace it with a card from the deck. The card then becomes part of the player's hand.

To exchange dream elements, swap one or more cards from your hand with an equal number of cards from the Dreaming Bazaar. This action allows you to trade unwanted elements for more desirable ones.

To unveil a dream or nightmare, a player must have a set of at least three Dream Cards of the same type. Discard the set face up in front of you and gain Dream Points based on the type and number of cards in the set.

Each type of dream element has a different point value. Whispers of Hope and Echoes of Joy are worth 3 points each. Tendrils of Fear and Shards of Despair are worth 2 points each. Fragments of Love and Shadows of Hatred are worth 5 points each.

In addition to collecting Dream Points, players can also acquire powerful Artifact Cards that represent tools used by dream weavers and nightmare hunters in their ongoing struggle. These cards allow players to perform unique actions and gain special abilities.

Artifact Cards are not part of the Dream Card deck, instead, they are placed separately, face up on the table. There are six Artifacts in total: The Loom of Dreams, The Nightmare Snare, The Mind's Eye, The Shadow Weaver, The Heartstone, and The Echoing Chalice.

To acquire an Artifact Card, a player must discard a set of three Dream Cards of any type. The player can then choose one of the available Artifacts, which grants them a unique power for the remainder of the game. Each player can possess only one Artifact at a time.

Players continue taking turns until the Dream Card deck is exhausted or until there are no more sets of three available in the Bazaar. The game ends immediately, and each player tallies their Dream Points. The player with the highest score is declared the winner.

In the event of a tie, apply the following tiebreakers in order: the player with the most Artifact Cards, the player with the most sets of at least three Dream Cards, and the player with the most Fragments of Love. If the tie persists, the players share the victory.

The world of Morpheus is a place of intrigue and adventure, where the power of dreams and nightmares shapes the fate of entire civilizations. Successful dream weavers and nightmare hunters understand the importance of cunning and strategy, as they trade and collect the elements needed to manipulate the minds of mortals.
