In a city brimming with simmering lava and volcanic activity, nestled at the mouth of an imposing volcano, an unlikely community was trying to coexist. This city, unlike any other, was a hub for scientists who were constantly monitoring the seismic activity, and getting a close encounter of the volcanic behavior.

Alongside the scientists, tribes of ape-men resided around the city. The presence of these creatures was a subject of constant tension. The struggle for survival had turned the city into a battlefield where man fought ape and vice versa.

Our protagonist, a gallant warrior, was at the forefront of these battles. Dressed in a mechanical armor, he was entrusted with the task of ensuring the safety of the city. During the skirmishes, he explored the capabilities of the armor and found himself empathizing with the ape-men.

A sudden large-scale attack by the ape-men pushed the city into chaos. However, the reason behind it was not to incite conflict, but merely a desperate attempt for survival from a city now threatening to burst at its seams. Understanding this, our protagonist, used the flight feature of his armor to escape the impending doom.

Upon his return, he found a near-apocalyptic scene. The scientists had evacuated, carrying with them the valuable armor. The inhabitants of the city, in a state of denial about the volcanic eruption, had started rioting. Uncertainty and panic filled the air as the city descended into chaos.

The ground beneath everyone’s feet started shaking violently. The volcano had finally erupted. The earth cracked open, and molten lava began to rapidly gush out. Amidst the torrents of lava, our protagonist spotted familiar faces. The ape-men, the very beings he had once fought against, were now running alongside him.

Together, man and ape made a mad dash for the shoreline. There was a desperate hope that if they could just reach the sea, they might stand a chance of surviving this catastrophic event. They could cross the sea and find a new place to live, a safe haven from the fiery wrath of the volcano.

Our protagonist finally made it to a deserted building perched by the sea. Gazing at the relentless waves, he found himself on the brink of an uncertain future. Just as he was about to plunge, he noticed some other people in the building. He saw a woman trapped and instantly tried to help.

Scrambling downstairs, he was taken aback when he looked down at himself. He was clad in a patient's uniform and was shockingly holding a lifeless dummy. As the realization hit him, he was left in breathtaking disbelief. He was in a psychiatric hospital, and what he had lived was not reality.

Overpowered by a jarring mix of agony and anger, he turned towards the dummy. His watery eyes glared as he voiced his rage, "I'll strangle you! I'll strangle you!" His loyal comrades, now spectators, shuffled out of the room, leaving behind a friend they had once known, in solitude.

The protagonist now found himself alone, teetering on the edge of the hospital building. His mind was a whirlpool of thoughts as he stared blankly at the waves crashing beneath. The once vibrant city, the ape-men, the volcano, they were all figments of his imagination. Reality painted a picture he wasn't ready to see just yet.
