Scott Liff was a man of the everyday grind. He woke up at six in the morning every day, made his coffee, and headed to Midas to start a long day of work.

He didn't mind. In fact, he loved his job. The scent of motor oil and the hum of car engines was music to his ears. He was the favorite among customers for his attention to detail.

But Scott was more than just a man in a black Midas suit . He was a loving husband, a devoted father, and a great son, an individual who found happiness in simplicity.

Every Sunday, rain or shine, Scott got together with his wife, son, and mother for dinner. They'd catch up, share stories, and reminisce about their childhood memories.

Among those nostalgic tales, the ones from sleep-away camp were their favorite. Every year, their parents sent them off for a month of adventure and camaraderie.

The camp was a childhood haven filled with laughter, campfires, and starry nights. The memories of those summer nights stuck in his mind

It was at camp where Scott discovered his love for machines. One summer, the camp director brought a rusty old lawnmower that refused to work. Fascinated, Scott took it apart piece by piece.

It took him three days, but he managed to fix it. That moment of victory sparked a lifelong love for machinery which eventually led him to his job at Midas.

In his early twenties, Scott owned a gas station called Sunoco, where he would always fix cars.

His passion and dedication didn't go unnoticed, he quickly rose through the ranks. From a rookie, he became one of the most sought-after mechanics in town.

Years passed, and life went on. Scott continued his work at Midas, while Evelyn followed her dream to work at Victoria’s Secret . Even though their paths diverged, they held onto their close bond.

Scott had to go to the doctor because he felt a bit odd, He was sometimes very tired after a long day of work

He had to see a doctor, and he finally admitted that he had been feeling odd for a while now. Reluctantly, he agreed to get checked.

The diagnosis was not what they were expecting. Scott was diagnosed with heart disease.

But Scott wasn't a man to give up so easily. Over the next year, he faced his illness with courage. He continued to work at Midas, cherishing the time he had left.

Evelyn was his pillar of strength during these tough times. She cooked for him, cared for him, and kept him company

The fight was tough, but Scott was tougher. He wore a smile every day, making people around him forget the harsh reality of his condition

However, life can be unexpectedly cruel. On a quiet summer morning, just weeks after his 49th birthday, Scott breathed his last. He passed away, due to a heart attack on June, 28, 2022

His loss caused a ripple of grief among family, friends, and customers. Sunoco seemed quieter, his regulars missing his friendly smile.

Evelyn was devastated, losing her husband and best friend. But, she knew Scott wouldn't want her to grieve indefinitely. He would want her to remember him with joy.

They made a memorial and Uncle Phill helped with the casket, His family and friends worshiped him and prayed for him to rest in peace

Friends, family, and customers gathered, sharing memories of Scott. His passion for work, his kindness towards people, and his love for family were praised.

As night fell, Evelyn was extremely saddened by her husband dying, He was her beloved husband.

After that night, life for Evelyn was ok, She missed her dear Scott that she loved a lot.

Every time Evelyn’s days are getting better but still misses her dear Scott, but she tried to be happy every day.

Scott's story was a tale of simplicity, love, and resilience. His journey hadn't been easy, but he lived it with grace, leaving behind a legacy that continued to inspire.

For Evelyn, her husband remained the brave, loving, and hardworking man. In the echoes of their laughter, Scott was alive, adding a touch of magic to ordinary life.

In the end, Scott was more than just a mechanic. He was a husband, a father, a confidant, and an inspiration for others. His story, while short, was a testament to a life well-lived.
