Marinette Dupain-Cheng walked barefoot along the water’s edge, her shoes dangling from one hand, as the sky changed colors above her.

She glanced to her side, where Adrien Agreste strolled, his laughter blending with the hush of the surf. Their footsteps left twin trails in the damp sand, drawing closer with each step.

"The sunset is incredible, but I think you might outshine it," "You always know what to say, Adrien," she replied, a blush coloring her cheeks.

They stopped beneath a leaning palm, the night’s hush wrapping around them. Adrien reached for Marinette’s hand, his voice trembling with honesty.

"I’ve wanted to tell you for so long... I think I’m falling in love with you," "I feel the same way," she whispered, her eyes reflecting the silver moonlight.

He leaned in, and their lips met in a slow, gentle kiss, the world shrinking to just the two of them.

Unbeknownst to the couple, a massive crocodile lurked in the shallows, its eyes glinting coldly under the moon. The water barely rippled as the beast inched closer, hunger driving its silent approach.

The lovers were lost in their embrace, unaware of the danger that crept ever nearer.

In a flash of movement, the crocodile surged from the surf, jaws wide. Marinette and Adrien cried out, scrambling backwards, but the beast’s powerful tail swept them off their feet.

Panic filled the air as they fought desperately, but the crocodile’s jaws closed around them, dragging them beneath the waves.

Inside the beast, Marinette and Adrien clung to each other, struggling against the crushing, slippery walls.

The world was reduced to darkness and the gurgling sounds of digestion, their hope dwindling with every passing second.

Their bodies grew weaker as the air thinned, the reality of their fate sinking in.

On the shore, the only sign of struggle was a pair of shoes and a flash of fabric caught in the tide.

The crocodile slid back into deeper water, its hunger sated, settling in for a night’s sleep beneath the gentle rhythm of the waves.

The beach was peaceful once again, the memories of love and terror lingering in the air.
