Raey Kevins, a cop from Boston, was in the midst of an investigation into a serial killing spree when an unusual incident occurred. He fell into a puddle that was no ordinary puddle. This puddle was a portal into a mysterious box of alien origin.

The box, which had a size of 2x2x5m, was made of a strong tungsten alloy. Raey tried to escape, but no human strength could break the alien material. A voice boomed in the box, sending chills down his spine. It was a deep, mechanical voice, speaking in a mix of English and an alien language.

Raey spent what felt to him like three days in the box. In actuality, he was there for 14,000 years. Despite the passing of time, he did not feel hungry or thirsty. His prison remained unchanged until a screen abruptly emerged.

The screen displayed a jumble of incomprehensible characters. Overwhelmed, Raey looked away, but the text continued to haunt his vision. As he tried to adjust, the floor beneath him disappeared, sending him into a free fall.

Raey fell from a great height, but miraculously, he felt no pain upon impact. He found himself in a new world, with towering stone and wood buildings at the base of a strange volcano. A cart abandoned nearby caught his attention.

As he tried to steady himself, a strange creature, a wyvern with a lion's head, attacked him. Raey was dumbfounded at the sight of the monstrous amalgamation. The creature's first attack obliterated the nearby cart.

Overwhelmed, Raey fled towards the volcanic settlement. To his surprise, he found that he could run at incredible speeds, faster than the sound. In the blink of an eye, he was at the base of the volcano.

The base was scattered with white-and-black marbled liquid spheres. Suddenly, they launched themselves at him. In response, Raey drew his police-issue pistol and shot at one of the spheres. But then, an extraordinary thing happened.

The bullet dissolved into the sphere, and then turned back towards Raey. It was not fast enough to catch him, but enough to follow him. As he tried to evade it, a cryptic message flashed across his vision: "PUNCH. DRAW TO EESVAIIL. NEN DELGINT TO ERASE."

Without a second thought, Raey lashed out in the direction of the bullet. The spheres, along with everything in a 50-meter radius, turned to dust. Immediately, another message appeared: "PRIMARY POWER DELIMITATION REACHED. STAGE TWO MEASURES NOW IN PLACE. RECTIFICATION ACTIVATED."

A sudden intense headache hit him. It lasted only for a moment, but the pain was more than anything he had ever experienced. The puzzling text in his vision read: "RECTICEDUR NE FAILED. CORRECTION: IMPOSSI. NONE FIDN IS GAIN."

Despite the pain and confusion, Raey moved on, passing more spheres along the way. He eventually arrived at a theatre-like open area. There, amidst the strangeness, he found something or rather someone familiar - a human.

There, tied by spheres, was a girl. Her presence was warm but intimidating. Raey got ready for a fight. He felt a dangerous aura emanating from the girl. As he braced himself, the spheres converged on her, heightening the danger.

The girl turned towards Raey, and with a flick of her wrist, sent him crashing through several walls. Despite the impact, Raey remained unharmed. Mustering all his strength, he charged back towards the girl, readying himself for a fight.

As Raey charged back, he noticed the girl was struggling against the control of the spheres. Taking this opportunity, he knocked her out with a single punch. Suddenly, the liquid from the spheres began seeping out from her mouth.

The liquid tried to control Raey, but with a simple flick, he obliterated it. With the danger averted, he turned his attention towards the unconscious girl, waiting for her to regain consciousness.

While waiting, Raey reflected on his inexplicable journey. The girl soon stirred, her imposing aura absent. "Aia Eleas. Princess of Raion. You?" she introduced herself, her voice a tad shaky but filled with undeniable strength.

Raey then shared his story, from the time he was a cop in Boston to the strange box and how he ended up in this strange world. Aia listened attentively, her eyes wide with disbelief.

After he recounted his tale, they discussed their situation and decided to stick together from then on. They knew they had to uncover the truth of this world and maybe find a way for Raey to return to his home.

Under the shadow of the strange volcano and amidst the marbled spheres, Raey and Aia formed an alliance. They knew their journey was just beginning, and they would face numerous challenges ahead.

The genres 'Sci-Fi' as outlined in the prompt was well incorporated in the story, blending elements of futuristic technology and alien environment, harnessing the character's strengths to face unusual challenges.

They vowed to face all difficulties together. Facing problems head-on was not new to Raey, being a cop, and Aia, being a princess, had her own share of responsibilities. Thus, began a new chapter in their lives.

They made a pact to find out the truth about the strange box, the sphere liquid, and the entire new world. They knew they had each other's back and were ready to unravel the secrets.

The journey was not going to be easy, but they were ready to face it. The strength of the human spirit was their greatest asset, and they had the will to survive. So they stepped forward together, into the unknown.

Little did they know, their story, the story of 'The Box of Infinity,' was just starting. It was a tale of courage, determination, and friendship forged between beings from two different worlds.
