Keumala Hayati, known widely as Malahayati, was a young girl growing up in the palace of Aceh. With a profound desire for knowledge, she spent her days engrossed in her studies and training in the art of combat.

Proving her prowess through dedication and discipline, she caught the Sultan's attention. With his approval, she ventured to study in the navy department in Baitul Maqdis.

There, Malahayati honed her skills, mastering maritime warfare. Unfortunately, her joy was short-lived when she lost her husband in an intense battle.

Wracked with grief yet steeled by resolve, she approached the Sultan of Aceh with a bold proposal: to assemble a women's force, a battalion of widows seeking justice.

The Sultan, initially taken aback, agreed. Impressed by Malahayati's fierceness and commitment, he granted her the permission she sought.

Hence, the Inong Balee troops were born, composed of 2000 hijabi widows, led by the indomitable Malahayati. Their presence sent ripples through the ranks of the Aceh warriors.

Soon, an extraordinary opportunity arose. A Dutch ship, led by Captain Cornelis de Houtman, threatened the Sultanate. Malahayati was appointed to defend their land.

With her Inong Balee troops, Malahayati set out at sea, her heart ablaze with anticipation and determination. The battle was looming on the horizon.

The Dutch ship emerged from the fog, a formidable adversary. Malahayati ordered her troops to attack. The waves became a battlefield.

Amidst the chaos and cannon fire, Malahayati found herself face to face with Captain de Houtman. He challenged her to a duel on the ship's deck.

Swords clashed, and their duel waged on. The entire ship seemed to standstill, all eyes on the two combatants. Malahayati fought with unparalleled courage.

In the end, it was Malahayati who stood victorious. She struck Cornelis de Houtman right in his heart, ending the duel and the battle.

The victory wasn't just hers; it was of every Aceh warrior, every widow in her battalion, every citizen of the Sultanate. It was a testament to their resilience.

For her bravery and leadership, Malahayati was bestowed the title of Admiral. She became an even more prominent figure, inspiring countless others with her story.
