The beach was filled with laughter and merriment as siblings, Emily and Jack, spent their day under the summer sun. Emily, a cheerful ten-year-old, was busy building sandcastles while Jack, her older brother, plotted his next prank.

Jack had been practicing hypnotism lately and saw Emily as the perfect subject for his tricks. He walked over to her, holding a shiny object in his hand, and began his act.

As a fish jumped out of the water, Emily began flopping on the sand like one, causing Jack to burst into laughter. The other beachgoers watched in confusion and amusement.

Jack then commanded Emily to try hypnotizing him. She stood up, picked a seashell and started swinging it in front of Jack's face. However, Emily ended up hypnotizing herself instead.

Jack had a hearty laugh as Emily, now doubly hypnotized, went to the ice cream vendor and bought an ice cream. She then proceeded to drop it on her shirt, as per Jack's command.

While Jack was busy laughing at Emily's antics, two men appeared. They had been watching the siblings and saw an opportunity for their own amusement in Emily's hypnotized state.

The men approached Emily and began giving her their own commands. They made her act like a floppy-head doll, which made them laugh heartily. Jack, unaware of their presence, was still laughing at his own prank.

Emily, still under the effects of the hypnosis, did not recognize these men and obediently followed their commands. Jack, finally noticing them, was not amused and tried to intervene.

The men, however, brushed Jack off and continued their fun. Jack, feeling helpless, decided to break Emily's hypnotic state. He knew he had to say the magic words to end the trance.

Emily marched up to the men and slapped her own face, a command she thought she was giving to them. The men were taken aback, and the surrounding beachgoers started laughing.

The men, embarrassed by the unexpected turn of events, quickly retreated. Emily then turned towards Jack, who was trying to suppress his laughter. She gave him a stern look, making him gulp in fear.

Emily demanded an explanation from Jack, who sheepishly admitted to hypnotizing her for fun. Emily, although still embarrassed, couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation.

Despite the strange events of the day, Emily didn't hold a grudge against Jack. She warned him against using her for his hypnotism practice in the future. Jack, learning his lesson, agreed.
