The boys' plane crashed with a deafening sound, leaving them stranded amidst the palm trees and golden sand. They stumbled out, dazed and fearful, but unharmed.

The boy leading the crowd was named Ralph. He was tall, with determined eyes and a burgeoning sense of responsibility. He helped the others out of the wreckage.

Among the group was Fatty, a kind-hearted and jovial boy. He was always teased for his size, but he never let it deter his spirit.

Ralph decided they needed a leader and the boys agreed. They elected Ralph, who promptly set about devising a plan for their survival.

They divided tasks among themselves - some to find food, some to build shelter, while others would explore for help.

Strangely, Fatty was chosen to guard the group's belongings. He was disappointed but accepted his job, promising to do his best.

A week passed. The boys built a makeshift hut and survived on wild berries and coconuts. Some even managed to catch fish from the surrounding sea.

Fatty, though relegated to the sidelines, noticed something peculiar. Mysterious footprints led to their camp, but no one else seemed to notice.

He tried warning Ralph, but he dismissed him, busy managing the group. Fatty was left alone with his concerns as the days passed.

One morning, their food stash was reduced. Fatty knew it was not them. He decided to stay up at night, watching for the thief.

That night, under the glow of the silver moon, a monkey came to their camp. Fatty held his breath as he watched it quietly.

Fatty decided to follow the monkey to its lair. He discovered a trove of fruits and berries that the animal had been collecting.

He returned to the camp and informed Ralph. Amazed, Ralph commended Fatty's bravery and had him lead the group to the fruit trove.

Their food problem was solved. The boys were all thankful to Fatty, who was no longer just a guard of their belongings but a hero.

Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. The boys became adept at living on the island, new routines replacing old school timetables.

They grew accustomed to their isolation, stories from home fading into distant memories. The island became not just their world but also home.

Fatty's respect among the boys grew. He was no longer teased but admired. He was instrumental in leading them through difficulties.

On Ralph’s suggestion, the boys began constructing a large SOS sign on the beach, seen from the air, in hopes of being rescued.

One day, Fatty, who had been exploring the forest, chanced upon a walkie-talkie in the plane wreckage. His heart pounded with hope.

He ran to Ralph, who switched the device on. A faint signal crackled through, enough to relay their location to the unknown receiver.

They waited anxiously for a response. After what felt like an eternity, there was a crackle of acknowledgement. Rescue was on its way.

When the boys saw a helicopter hovering above the island, their joy was indescribable. They cheered and cried, their ordeal was finally over.

As they were airlifted to safety, they would forever remember their time on the island. The friendships formed, the lessons learned, they would hold dear.

Ralph and Fatty, once school captain and the bullied victim, now returned as two heroes who led their group through months of survival.

Never again would they be mere schoolboys. They had grown into young men of courage and resilience, shaping their destinies on a deserted island.
