Gravisto was brought back to life by the Avengers, and he seeks the help of his friend, Shane Markowitz. He convices Shane to aid the Avengers in their fight against Thanos.

Encouraged by his friend, Shane arrives at the destroyed Avengers Compound, ready to fight. The Avengers, surrounded by the wreckage, are in dire need of assistance.

Shane's unexpected arrival turns the tide of the battle. He engages Thanos in a skirmish, managing to land a few solid hits and severely injuring the villain.

Thanos, however, escapes Shane's onslaught and retreats, disappearing among the ruins of the compound. Shane continues with the Avengers, not allowing the retreat to halt his will to fight.

Meanwhile, a climactic confrontation ensues between Thor and Thanos. The villain attacks and shatters the handle of Thor's axe, Stormbreaker, leaving the Asgardian momentarily defenseless.

As Thor struggles, Shane steps in, repurposing his own staff as a new handle for Stormbreaker. With a swift move, he manages to replace the broken handle and bestow Thor with his weapon.

Shane then discovers a new capability within himself. He channels lightning, striking Thanos who was about to deliver a lethal blow to Thor, saving his fellow warrior.

Shane hands Stormbreaker back to Thor, who is astonished and grateful. The young man continues to fight, using his newfound lightning powers to bring down the enemy forces.

As the battle reaches its climax, Iron Man executes a final move. He sacrifices himself to eradicate Thanos' army, effectively bringing an end to the conflict.

In the aftermath, the Avengers mourn the loss of Tony Stark. His funeral is a poignant affair, with all the heroes paying their respects to the fallen Avenger.

Gravisto, now an official member of the Avengers, approaches Shane. He urges him to consider joining as well, believing his abilities would be a valuable asset to the team.

As the story concludes, Shane declines the offer to join the Avengers. He expresses a desire to "retire," leaving his future uncertain, but his heroism undisputed.
