Nico di Angelo, the son of Hades, had always been a force to reckon with. But now, possessed by Gaea, the Earth Goddess, he was a formidable adversary. His cousins, Astrid Caulfield and Percy Jackson, watched in horror as his eyes glowed an eerie green.

Percy, the son of Poseidon, tried to reason with Nico, but his words fell on deaf ears. Astrid, Zeus's daughter, tried to use her powers to reach Nico, but Gaea was too strong.

"We need help," Percy said, frustration etching his face. Astrid nodded, her blue eyes filled with worry. "We need to go to Hades," she stated, much to Percy's surprise.

They went to the Underworld, where they found Hades, torn between his duty as a god and his love for his son. The sight of his internal struggle made their hearts ache.

Hades shook his head, refusing to help them. He feared his decision might lead to disastrous consequences. With heavy hearts, they left the Underworld, determined to save Nico themselves.

Armed with their powers and their love for Nico, they confronted him again. The possessed Nico laughed, his voice chilling and devoid of the warmth they knew.

They fought with all their might but Nico, fueled by Gaea's power, easily overpowered them. They were on the brink of defeat, their strength waning, when a new presence arrived.

It was Hades, his face etched with worry and determination. He had chosen his love for his son over his duty, a decision that surprised everyone.

"Enough, Gaea!" Hades roared, his voice echoing around them. He stepped forward, reaching out to Nico. "This is not your fight. Release my son!"

The possessed Nico faltered, Gaea's hold on him weakening. Hades' words had struck a chord, and for the first time, Nico seemed to be fighting back.

Percy and Astrid joined the fight, using their powers in unison. The air crackled with energy as they combined their abilities, trying to free Nico from Gaea's grasp.

The battle raged on, with each side pushing and pulling. Nico was trapped in the middle, trying to resist Gaea's control while his family fought to free him.

Suddenly, Nico screamed, a sound filled with pain and defiance. The green glow in his eyes flickered, then disappeared, leaving his usual dark eyes in their place.

He collapsed, exhausted but free. Hades rushed to his side, cradling him gently. Percy and Astrid watched, relieved that their cousin was back.

"Thank you," Hades murmured, looking at Percy and Astrid with newfound respect. They had proven their love for Nico, risking everything to save him.

Later, Nico woke up, surrounded by his father, Percy, and Astrid. His eyes, once filled with an eerie glow, were now filled with gratitude and love.

"I'm sorry," he whispered, his voice hoarse. "I didn't mean..." They hushed him, assuring him that it wasn't his fault.

They spent the next few days together, healing and recovering. They had won the battle, but the war against Gaea was far from over.

Despite the looming threat, they were stronger together. They had proven their loyalty and love for each other, a bond that could withstand any challenge.

Nico, Percy, and Astrid, united by blood and love, were ready for whatever came their way. And Hades, grateful for their courage, vowed to stand by them.

Gaea might have lost this battle, but she was not defeated. She would return, stronger and more vicious. But they were ready. They would always be ready.

After all, they were the children of the Big Three - Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. They were born to face challenges and to overcome them.

They were demigods - fierce, brave, and resilient. They would face whatever was thrown at them and come out victorious. For they were not just heroes, they were family.

In the end, they knew that love and loyalty were their greatest weapons. They had saved Nico once, and they would do it again, as many times as necessary.

As they stood together, united against the threats that loomed ahead, they knew they were unstoppable. They were ready to face whatever came their way, for they were stronger together.

So, as the sun set, casting long shadows over the land, they stood together, ready for whatever came next. The battle was over, but their journey was just beginning.
