Jacques "Travis" Scott was born on April 30, 1992, in Houston, Texas. He grew up in the middle-class suburban area of South Park, Houston. His passion for music was ignited at a very young age. He was drawn particularly to rap and hip-hop.

As a child, Travis was fascinated by the beats and rhythm of music and was always found nodding his head to the beats of his favourite songs. His family recalls countless times when he would be engrossed in his own world of melodies and rhythms.

His grades in school weren't remarkable but his passion for music was a constant. His family, although supportive, were skeptical about his future in the music industry. Nevertheless, they continued to support his dream.

Travis was particularly inspired by hip-hop artists like Kanye West and Jay-Z. Songwriting became his solace during the difficult times. He began refining his skills in music production and gradually started creating his own beats.

After High School, Travis attended University of Texas at San Antonio but soon dropped out. He knew that his heart and soul belonged to music and he could no longer put his passion on hold for a traditional career path.

With little more than a dream and stubborn determination, Travis moved to New York City to kick-start his music career. Living in the big city with little money was tough, but he was ready to endure anything for his love of music.

In New York, Travis met his future collaborator and friend, Chris Holloway. They formed the group "The Graduates" and released their first EP on Myspace in 2009. This marked the beginning of Travis's journey in the music industry.

Travis later moved to Los Angeles, the heart of the American music industry. There, he continued to produce music while facing the harsh realities of the industry and the city. It was a struggle but he never lost hope.

Travis hit a low point when he was kicked out of his friend's place where he was crashing. But fate had different plans. He was noticed by an executive from Epic Records who was impressed by his talent.

His life changed overnight when he was signed to Epic Records. He started working on his first album. During this time, Travis was introduced to Kanye West, who became his mentor and later played a key role in his music career.

In 2013, Travis released his first mixtape "Owl Pharaoh" which received positive feedback from listeners. His distinct style and authentic voice were appreciated throughout the hip-hop community. His dream was finally becoming a reality.

Travis didn't stop there. He released his second mixtape "Days Before Rodeo" in 2014 which gained more attention from the audience and critics. The success of his mixtapes paved the way for his debut studio album.

His debut album "Rodeo" was released in 2015 and featured collaborations with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Kanye West and Justin Bieber. The album was a commercial success and solidified Travis’s place in hip-hop.

In 2016, Travis launched his own record label, Cactus Jack Records, with the aim of helping aspiring artists achieve their dreams. His life had taken a full circle, from a struggling artist to a successful label owner.

Travis continued to climb the ladder of success with his second album "Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight", topping the Billboard 200. His journey has been a testament to the power of dedication and passion.

In 2018, his third studio album, "Astroworld", was released and became a massive hit. It was critically acclaimed and loved by fans. With this album, Travis Scott became a global superstar in the music industry.

Despite his fame, Travis always stayed true to his roots. His music often reflects his personal experiences and struggles. His authenticity is what sets him apart in the saturated world of hip-hop.
