Once upon a time, in a peaceful valley, lived three billy goats Gruff. Baby Goat Gruff, Middle Goat Gruff, and Big Goat Gruff were their names. They loved munching on the lush green grass that grew by the river.

Baby Goat Gruff was the youngest and the most adventurous of the three. He loved to explore the valley with his toy, Mr. Harry.

Darling was the caring mother of the three goats. She always looked out for them from the hilltop, making sure they were safe while grazing.

One day, while the three goats were grazing near the river, they heard a strange noise. It was a 'trip trap' sound coming from the old wooden bridge nearby.

The 'trip trap' sound grew louder. Baby Goat Gruff, being the most curious, decided to check what was making the noise.

As he approached the bridge, Baby Goat Gruff saw a group of trolls. They were military trolls, known for their mischievous behavior.

Baby Goat Gruff immediately ran back to his brothers. They needed to come up with a plan to protect their peaceful valley from these trolls.

Middle Goat Gruff, being thoughtful, suggested they should try to talk to the trolls. Maybe they could convince them to leave their valley.

The three goats bravely crossed the bridge, approaching the trolls. Big Goat Gruff took the lead, his protective nature guiding them.

The trolls, surprised by the goats' bravery, listened as Big Goat Gruff spoke. He asked them to leave their valley in peace.

But the trolls were stubborn. They laughed at the goats and refused to leave. They claimed the valley as their new playground.

The goats were disheartened. But Baby Goat Gruff had a plan. He whispered his idea to his brothers. They listened carefully and nodded in agreement.

Baby Goat Gruff knew the trolls loved riddles. He challenged them to a riddle contest. If the goats won, the trolls had to leave.

The trolls, always up for a challenge, agreed to the contest. They were confident they could outsmart the goats.

The riddle contest began. Baby Goat Gruff went first. He gave the trolls a tough riddle, which they couldn't answer.

The trolls were surprised. They never expected the goats to be so clever. But they didn't give up and asked their own riddle.

Middle Goat Gruff quickly solved the troll's riddle. The trolls were shocked again. They started to worry they might lose the contest.

The contest continued, with the goats answering all the trolls' riddles. The trolls couldn't answer any of the goats' riddles.

Finally, it was time for the last riddle. If the trolls couldn't answer it, they would have to leave the valley. Big Goat Gruff posed a challenging riddle.

The trolls tried hard but couldn't solve the riddle. They had lost the contest. True to their word, they left the valley, promising never to return.

The goats were overjoyed. They had successfully defended their valley. They returned to their grazing, the peaceful valley restored.

Darling, who had been watching from the hilltop, was proud of her children. They had shown great bravery and wit.

From that day on, the goats were known as the bravest goats in the valley. They had saved their home from the trolls.

Their adventure became a legend in the valley. All the animals admired their courage and wit. The three Billy Goats Gruff became heroes.

And so, they continued to live in their peaceful valley, grazing on the lush green grass, always ready to protect their home.
