Once upon a time, in a lush green forest filled with bubbling brooks and vibrant flowers, lived a wise old Owl named Ollie. He was different from his noisy neighbors, for he was the only creature awake during the night.

Ollie, like all owls, had big, beautiful eyes. They sparkled in the moonlight, and his vision was so sharp, he could see the smallest mouse running in the farthest corner of the forest, even in the darkest of nights.

Ollie loved to watch the night unfold its mysteries. The twinkle of distant stars, the glowing moon, the rustling leaves in the gentle breeze; he admired everything with awe and wonder.

One night, while Ollie was enjoying his nightly observations, he noticed something peculiar. Signs of fatigue appeared in his eyes, and things started to look blurry. He found it difficult to see the creatures moving in the distance.

Troubled and scared, Ollie visited Dr. Raven, the forest's doctor. After a thorough examination, Dr. Raven said, ‘Ollie, your eyes are strained and tired. You need to rest them and take better care of them.’

Ollie, taken aback, asked Dr. Raven, ‘But how do I take care of my eyes?’ Dr. Raven wisely advised, ‘Staring at one thing for too long is not good. Also, make sure to blink your eyes regularly. Lastly, reading in low light can strain your eyes.’

Ollie thanked Dr. Raven and promised to follow his advice. From that day onwards, he made sure to rest his eyes often. He blinked regularly and stopped gazing at the same thing for too long.

Gradually, Ollie started noticing a significant difference. His eyes felt refreshed, and his vision was slowly returning to normal. He was thrilled to see the twinkling stars and the busy forest at night clearly again.

Ollie felt so thankful for Dr. Raven's advice that he decided to share his newfound knowledge with the young ones in the forest. He gathered the forest's babies - tiny squirrels, newborn rabbits, young birds, and others.

The owl shared his harrowing experience and explained how his negligence had led to his eye problems. He also shared Dr. Raven's advice on how to take care and protect their eyes.

The young ones listened attentively as Ollie told them the importance of not straining their eyes, blinking regularly, and avoiding reading in low light. The little ones understood the significance of proper eye care.

One of the youngest squirrels, Sammy, raised his tiny paw and asked, ‘What happens if we don’t take care of our eyes, Ollie?’ Ollie looked at Sammy, pause, and replied, ‘Then, we may not be able to see all the beautiful things around us, Sammy.’

Everyone gasped at this thought, realizing the importance of their vision. From that day forward, each of them took care of their eyes and shared the knowledge with their friends and family.

Soon, the whole forest knew about the importance of taking care of their eyes. Everyone started giving their eyes the rest they deserved, blinking more often, and avoiding too much strain on their eyes.

Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. Ollie and the forest folks lived harmoniously, taking care of their eyes and appreciating the beauty that surrounded them. They learned an important life lesson - 'Look after your eyes, and they will look after you.'

Years later, the story of Ollie and his advice on eye care became a legendary tale in the forest. Every newborn was told the tale, and the tradition of eye care became a part of their lives.

Ollie lived a long life, seeing the forest and its inhabitants grow and flourish. His story served as a reminder to love and take care of one's eyes. For it is the eyes that show us the beauty of the world and its endless wonders.
