Alice sat in her room, staring at the two calendars that adorned her wall. One for mom's house, one for dad's. 'This is life now,' she thought.

Her younger sister Sam, oblivious to the changes, played on the lawn. Her laughter echoed through the house, a reminder of the innocence they were both losing.

A week later, they found themselves in their father's new apartment. Sam was in awe of the view, while Alice felt an unfamiliar sting of homesickness.

"It's different here, isn't it?" Alice asked Sam one night. "Yeah, but it's not bad," Sam replied, her innocence shining through her words.

Back at their mom's, Alice and Sam found comfort in familiar routines. From baking cookies to bedtime stories, they clung to these moments of normalcy.

Alice started writing a journal, detailing her feelings about the divorce and the two households. It became her silent confidante, her escape from reality.

Over time, they found new routines in their dad's apartment too. Weekend trips to the park became a cherished tradition.

"We're like migratory birds, aren't we?" Alice asked Sam one day. "Yeah, but we get the best of both worlds." he replied, offering her a reassuring smile.

As the seasons changed, so did Alice and Sam. They learned to navigate their new reality, growing closer in their shared experiences.

Alice realized that home wasn't a place but a feeling. It was being with Sam, sharing laughter, tears, and everything in between.

One night, Alice shared her journal with Sam. They laughed, cried, and reminisced, finding solace in their shared memories.

In their hearts, they knew they would navigate this journey together. After all, they were siblings - two homes, but one heart.
