It was a balmy Saturday afternoon when Emily decided to visit the local fair in the heart of her small town. Bright colors, cheerful sounds, and the smell of popcorn filled the air. Emily loved mingling with the townsfolk and enjoying the carefree atmosphere.

As Emily stopped by each stall, a bright spot amidst a crowd of people caught her attention. It was a clown with a joyously painted face and a brightly colored outfit, entertaining the audience with her jovial antics.

Emily was immediately enchanted by the clown's expressive performance and found her quite attractive. She was not like any other clown Emily had ever seen. She added a unique charm to the traditional jesting that was hard to ignore.

With a heart beating with a mix of excitement and curiosity, Emily made her way towards the clown. She wanted to get closer to her, catch her attention, and maybe, if she got lucky, share a brief conversation.

As the clown's act concluded amidst roaring applause, Emily mustered up the courage and approached her. The clown's eyes met hers, and Emily greeted her warmly, complimenting her on her performance.

The clown flashed a toothy grin, extending her hand for a shake. Emily felt a flutter in her stomach. She was making progress, she thought. She happily shook the clown's hand and introduced herself.

Their conversation was light-hearted and full of laughter. Emily subtly threw in flirty comments, hoping the clown would catch on. The clown, seemingly oblivious, chuckled at Emily's humor while cleaning up her props.

There was one prop that caught Emily's eye - a stack of creamy pies. Emily had an idea to grab the clown's attention. She cheekily asked if she could help clean up, pointing towards the pies.

The clown hesitated at first but then shrugged, handing Emily a pie. Emily was delighted. It was a small step, but it felt like a victory in itself. She carefully picked up a pie and brought it closer.

With a twinkle in her eyes, Emily leaned in towards the clown. "What do you say we add a little more fun to this cleanup?" she proposed suggestively, holding the pie up as if she were about to throw it.

The clown looked at Emily, surprised, but then her eyes gleamed with mischief. With a wide grin, she nodded, and to Emily's surprise, picked up a pie from the stack herself.

Emily didn't expect the clown to join her in this playful act. She laughed, holding her hand up, ready to block any incoming pie. As she did, she couldn't help but notice the clown's infectious laughter and the spark in her eyes.

And then, time seemed to slow. Emily saw the clown wind up, her arm stretching back before she propelled the pie towards Emily. Emily was stunned but also thrilled at the sudden turn of events.

The pie hit Emily square in the face, its creamy filling splattering all over her. Laughter erupted all around them. Emily stood there, covered in pie cream, blinking in disbelief. She had not seen that coming!

Emily wiped off the cream from her eyes and looked at the clown who was laughing uncontrollably. Realizing the funny side of the situation, Emily too burst into laughter. The surprise pie attack had indeed added fun to their interaction.

As Emily cleaned herself up, she noticed the clown was watching her, an amused expression on her face. She asked, still chuckling, "Did you enjoy your pie, Emily?" Emily grinned, nodding while wiping off the last remnants of the cream.

The clown's level of humor had surpassed Emily's expectations, making her even more attracted. Now that ice was broken, Emily felt more confident flirting with her. By the time the cleanup was done, Emily felt a stronger connection with the clown.

When it was time for Emily to leave, she extended an invitation to the clown for a cup of coffee. The clown, wiping a smear of cream from her chin, looked at Emily and gave her a broad smile. "I'd love to," she responded.

The two women bid their farewells for now, agreeing to meet at the local café the next morning. Emily walked away, her heart fluttering with anticipation. She was looking forward to her date with the pretty clown.

As Emily left the fairgrounds, she couldn't help but glance back at the clown, now engrossed in her next performance. Emily felt happy about her decision to approach the clown, despite the pie incident. Her plan had worked out in a way she had never imagined.

That night, as Emily dozed off, her mind played the events of the day. The pie splattering all over her face, the subsequent laughter, and the fun conversation with the clown. It was undeniably one of her most memorable days.

The next morning, Emily met the clown at the café. This time, without the makeup and the vibrant costume. She was just as beautiful and funny, just more herself. Emily couldn't help but feel more attracted to her.

Their coffee date was filled with shared laughter, stories, and a lot of flirting. Emily knew that she had made a unique connection with the clown. The pie incident had indeed been a messy but beautiful start to a refreshing relationship.

Emily and the clown grew fond of each other and continued to meet regularly. They would often revisit the fair, and sometimes, for fun, stage another pie fight, which always ended with roars of laughter and sweet memories.

Emily's flirtatious adventure had turned into a blooming romance, full of affection, humor, and occasional pie fights. Her encounter with the pretty clown at the fair surely was a messy surprise, but it was one she would cherish forever.
