A man, alone in his thoughts, walked through the park. His heart was heavy with loneliness and sadness. He felt as if he were an island in a sea of happiness.

Suddenly, he saw her. A woman, so beautiful that she took his breath away. Her smile was radiant, her dress elegant, she was the woman of his dreams.

He approached her, his heart pounding in his chest. He gathered all his courage and confessed his feelings to her, 'I love you so much.'

The woman was taken aback, she looked at him with a shocked expression. She responded, 'Sorry, I can't. I'm married. If I wasn't, sorry too, that things didn't come like that.'

He apologized, 'Sorry, I didn't have any control over my feelings when I saw you.' He turned around to leave, but she stopped him.

She followed him and offered, 'We can be friends.' He agreed, though his heart ached at the thought of being just friends with her.

She tried to comfort him, 'Don't be sad, the world is full of beautiful women.' He sighed and replied, 'Yes, but not like you, you are unique.'

He walked away, leaving her standing alone. Despite the pain, he felt a sense of peace. He had confessed his feelings, and though he wasn't loved back, he had found a friend in her.
