That fateful day in class 1-A, an echo of laughter resonated through the room as Mina Ashido threw her question into space. Kyoka Jiro, with her characteristic dry humor, directed the question towards Denki Kaminari.

The room erupted into laughter. Mina, seemingly pleased with her joke, was laughing the loudest. Kaminari, sitting across the room, looked up, shocked and slightly embarrassed.

The aftermath of the mid-term assessment had been unkind to Kaminari. The laughter that filled the room was a harsh reminder of his poor performance.

Kaminari felt a sting of embarrassment. He was used to being the butt of the jokes in the class but, this one felt more personal. He flashed a forced smile, trying to play along.

Despite his playful facade, he was genuinely hurt. He couldn't help but dwell on his scores. The comments from his friends piled onto his self-doubt.

Kaminari wasn't stupid, and he knew it. His power was enough to validate his place at UA. But the constant failure in academics was a tough pill to swallow.

He knew he had to prove himself. Not to his classmates or his friends, but to himself. He wanted to shatter the narrative that had built around him.

Kaminari decided to take action. He opted to start studying more seriously. He began staying up late at night, pouring over notes and textbooks.

He kept his new found determination a secret. The teasing would only become worse if his friends found out he was taking studying seriously. He wanted his actions to speak for himself.

Days turned into weeks and his efforts started showing results. He could answer questions he previously couldn't. The knowledge was slowly seeping through, breaking his self-constructed barriers.

His sleep-deprived self sometimes stumbled upon concepts he couldn't understand. But he had resolved to seek help and not back down. For that, he turned to Momo Yaoyorozu.

Yaoyorozu was initially surprised. Kaminari, the focus of teasing, seeking help was not something she expected. However, she agreed to tutor him, seeing the seriousness in his eyes.

Kaminari found her teaching style incredibly helpful. She didn't just feed him the answers but engaged him in understanding the concepts. His progress became noticeable.

He was now not only answering questions but was also able to participate in class discussions. This was a stark contrast from the Kaminari his classmates knew.

Upon realizing his improvements, his friends were genuinely happy for him. Their teasing didn’t stop, but Kaminari could now see it was out of affection, not spite.

The end of the semester was approaching, and with it, a wave of final assessments. Kaminari, with Yaoyorozu's guidance, was ready to face the challenge head-on.

The day of the final assessment came. Kaminari sat in the examination hall, not gripped by fear or anxiety, but filled with a newfound confidence.

He breezed through the assessment, answering the questions with ease and understanding. For once, his mind was clear and focused.

Once the results were out, his improvements were not only evident but remarkable. His score was not the highest, but the progress he showed was immense.

His classmates congratulated him, even Ashido and Jiro. The teasing still continued, but there was an undercurrent of respect and admiration in it now.

Kaminari didn’t turn into an academic genius overnight. He was still the same person, but he proved that he was more than just the class clown.

This journey didn't just change his academic performance but also his perspective towards himself. He learned to value his own will and determination.

He proved that the “height of stupidity” was not a label that could define him. Kaminari, once the unfortunate punchline, had turned the tables around.

He was not just the "Stun Gun Hero", Kaminari Denki anymore. He was a testament to the fact that hard work and perseverance could redefine anyone.

Kaminari showed that behind his carefree smile, there was a flame of determination, burning bright and unwavering. And this flame was just getting started.
