Googie, a fluffy brown-and-white puppy with big, curious eyes and floppy ears, bounds out the back door, his tail wagging with excitement. The air is filled with the sweet scent of flowers, and everywhere he looks, the world seems extra bright and magical today. He pauses, nose twitching, as he notices something sparkling among the tulips.
Googie trots over and sniffs at a shiny blue egg half-hidden beneath a daffodil. "What’s this? It smells so interesting! I wonder if it’s a new toy or something to eat," he wonders aloud, gently nudging the egg with his nose until it rolls out into the open. His eyes widen in delight.
Pip[/@ch_2] and Peep, tumble from behind a bush, their yellow fluff glowing in the sunlight. They chirp energetically, hopping around the eggs.]
Pip, the taller chick with a tiny blue bow, waves a wing. "Hi Googie! Happy Easter! Are you looking for eggs too?"
Peep, the rounder chick with red feet, giggles and points to a pink egg near Googie. "Let’s see who can find the most eggs! It’s a special game just for today,"
"A game? I love games! Let’s play together," Googie barks, his tail wagging faster than ever.
Googie finds a golden egg hidden inside a watering can and barks for his friends. "Look what I found! It’s shiny and special,"
"Wow, Googie, you’re really good at this! Let’s keep searching—there are still more eggs to find,"
"Don’t forget to check behind the big tree, that’s where the best surprises hide!"
Googie and his new friends gasp in wonder. "It’s so big! Maybe it has a treat inside for all of us,"
"Let’s open it together!" The friends nudge the egg until it cracks open, revealing a pile of tiny plush toys and a note that says, “Happy Easter, Googie and Friends!” They all laugh and cheer, hugging the toys and each other.
"This was the best first Easter ever. I’m so glad I got to share it with new friends," Googie sighs contentedly.
"Every Easter is special when you’re with friends," Pip chirps.
"Let’s play again next year!" Peep adds, and the three friends laugh as they chase butterflies into the golden afternoon.
