After a long, grueling battle, they finally defeated Bowser. Sonic's world was safe once again, and Bowser was sent back to the Mushroom Kingdom.

Tails opened a portal back to the Mushroom Kingdom. As they stepped through it, they knew they had made new, lifelong friends.
