The school bell rang, signalling the end of the day. The boys, full of energy, rushed to the playground for their usual game of Button Battle. They knew the rules - touch the opponent's belly button and trouser buttons, and you've won the round.

"Alright, Tommy, let's do this!" shouted James, a fellow classmate. James, being a champion at this game, was a tough competitor. He and Tommy were often the last two standing, making for an intense showdown.

Tommy was at a disadvantage with his outie belly button. It made him an easy target. But Tommy was agile. He could dodge and weave with the best of them, making it difficult for anyone to touch his buttons.

Suddenly, Tommy heard a shout. "Tommy is cheating! He has an outie belly button!" It was Timmy, the class bully. Timmy was notorious for finding ways to win, even if it meant bending the rules.

"I can't change the way my navel looks," Tommy defended himself. He was upset but not surprised. Timmy always had something to complain about. But this time, Tommy's friends were quick to stand up for him.

"James, quick, we need to run," Tommy said, laughing, but his smile disappeared when he felt a sharp pain in his belly. "Bleghh, I'm dead," he said, falling to the ground.

James looked at Tommy, worried. He saw blood seeping through his friend's shirt. "Timmy, you went too far this time," he yelled, running to get the school nurse.

The nurse came running, her face pale. She quickly bandaged Tommy's wound. Timmy, seeing the seriousness of the situation, ran off, guilt written all over his face.

After the nurse helped Tommy, he returned to the playground. He was welcomed with a tight hug from James. Timmy, who had been hiding, came forward, his face wet with tears.

"I'm sorry, Tommy," Timmy said, sobbing. Tommy was surprised. He had never seen Timmy like this before. "It's alright, Timmy. It was an accident," Tommy replied, showing his friend a warm smile.

"Wow, you really wanted me dead, huh?" Tommy joked, trying to lighten the mood. Timmy didn't find it funny. He punched Tommy lightly on the arm, causing Tommy to wince. "Not funny, Tommy," Timmy said, still upset.

Tommy lifted Timmy's shirt, revealing his deep innie belly button. "Timmy, why is your innie so deep? Can I touch it?" Tommy asked, a mischievous grin on his face. The boys laughed, their friendship stronger than ever.
