Once upon a time, there were four friends named Victor, Luis, Rafael, and Miguel. They met at the playground of Manuel M. Altamirano School during a break. One day, they decided to embark on a quest for a hidden treasure, the first clue of which was supposedly in a nearby field.

They divided the field into four sections and started their search. Victor found only an old shoe in his area, but he kept it, thinking it might be of use later.

Despite digging and searching, Rafael found nothing but an old necklace and a matching shoe. He felt disheartened but didn't lose hope.

Miguel, however, was luckier. He unearthed a box that contained a piece of a map. His eyes sparkled with excitement as he realized they were on the right path.

Luis was the last to find something. He unearthed another box, inside of which was the other part of the map. When joined, they formed a map of San Jose.

The friends traveled to the location marked on the map, which led them to a huge cornfield. Venturing into the dense growth, they found a scarecrow made of donkey dung.

Under the scarecrow, they found another clue - another map. This one led them to the pyramids of Chichen Itza. So, they embarked on their journey to Yucatan.

Once inside the pyramid, they could hear the echoing calls of quetzals. They found a place to put their maps, and as they did, a quetzal flew out, leading them to their next location.

The bird led them to Egypt, dropping them at the Pyramids of Giza. Victor encouraged everyone to enter, but Rafael was hesitant, fearing the mummies inside.

Despite his fear, Rafael was pulled along by his friends. As they entered, the doors behind them shut, and they found themselves in a race against time, running from emerging mummies.

They ran and ran, until they reached the top of the pyramid. There, Rafael exclaimed, they had found a vast treasure - heaps of gold.

They decided to take the gold back to their school to repair the classrooms and the playground. The friends felt proud and victorious, having completed their treasure hunt.
