    Dallin sat in his usual seat in the classroom, carefully listening to the teacher. He liked order and rules, and was always upset when his peers didn't follow them.

    One day, his classmate, Lily, was chatting during a quiet study period. Dallin felt his frustration rising. He didn't understand why Lily was breaking the rule.

    Dallin decided to use one of his strategies - he asked his teacher for a break. He left the room to calm down and started chewing on his chewlery, a strategy that often helped him cope with frustration.

    While he was outside, he tried to understand why Lily was talking during quiet time. He wondered if maybe she had a different way of seeing things.

    Dallin remembered something his teacher had once said about perspective-taking. He realized that Lily might have a different perspective on the classroom rules.

    He decided to talk to Lily about it. When he returned to the classroom, Dallin approached Lily and asked her why she was talking during quiet time.

    Lily explained that she learns better when she talks out her thoughts, and it helps her focus. Dallin was surprised but appreciated her perspective.

    Dallin felt less frustrated now that he understood Lily's perspective. He also realized that others might see and do things differently than him.

    From then on, Dallin started using his strategies whenever he felt frustrated. He would take a break or chew on his chewlery, and try to understand others' perspectives.

    This didn't mean he agreed with all the rule-breaking, but understanding others helped him feel less upset.

    Dallin learned that everyone has their own ways and perspectives. He understood that it's okay for people to be different.

    And so, Dallin continued to grow, learning to manage his frustrations, and trying to understand the world from different perspectives.
