A little black lab, had just picked out his new boy. A young boy named Alex. He had brought the puppy a snuggly blue blanket and a soft toy for the car new and a red leash! Most of all he brought him his name, Finnegan.

Finnegan looked around, scared Where were his siblings? The house was not his house!. But, when Alex scooped him up for a snuggle he was not scared anymore.

In the backyard, Alex introduced Finn to his new bed and the big yard where he could run and play. Finn wagged his tail, his eyes sparkling with excitement. He had never seen so much space before. And ... he soon found out he has a "fur" bother, Max, a big black Lab!

Alex and Finn spent the afternoon playing fetch. Alex would throw a ball, and Finn would chase it, his little legs pumping as fast as they could. This was fun!

In the evening, Alex and Finn and the big black Lab, Max curled up together on a large comfy couch. Alex patted Finn's soft fur, whispering stories about the adventures they would have together!

Alex taught Finn commands like 'sit', 'stay', and 'come'. Every time Finn followed the command, he got a treat. This was a game that Finn liked very much.

One hot afternoon, Alex decided to teach Finn to swim. Finn was a little scared at first, but with Alex and and the very good swimmer, Max by his side, he began to paddle his little paws in the water.

Soon, Finn was splashing and playing in the water, his fear forgotten. Alex laughed, his eyes sparkling with joy. This was the best day ever.

As the day turned into night, Alex and Finn lay in the backyard, looking up at the lights in the sky. Alex pointed up and called them "stars" and said they were named "The Milky Way." Alex told him that these stars were their very own because they were over their house every night! Finn's eyes sparkled.

Finnegan Fredrick, the little black lab, had found a home, a boy, and an adventure. He knew he belonged here. He was not just a pet; he was family.

The next morning, Finn woke up to the smell of pancakes. Alex was in the kitchen, making breakfast. This was home, and Finn loved every bit of it.

As each day passed, Finn and Alex's love deepened. They were inseparable, two best friends on a never-ending adventure. Finnegan's new home was filled with, laughter, lots of treats but mostly love.
