One sunny morning, Inky-Pinky Pinky-Ponky Dupy-Lupy Zimpy-Zampy Caterpillar, or simply Inky-Pinky, decided to go down to the beach with his friends. He scurried excitedly to fetch his little red bucket and spade.

At the beach, they built sandcastles, played hide and seek, and had a picnic. They were having so much fun, they didn't notice the sun starting to set.

Meanwhile, Inky-Pinky's mummy and daddy were getting worried. It was getting dark and their little boy hadn't come home yet. They decided to call the police for help.

Back at the beach, Inky-Pinky and his friends were starting to realize it was getting late. They looked around and saw that the beach was empty and it was getting dark.

The children followed the sound of the voices and soon found themselves face-to-face with the policemen. They were scared, but PC Tubbs and PC Betty were kind and understanding.

They explained that everyone was worried about them and they should have told their parents where they were going. The little creatures nodded, promising they would remember next time.
