Once upon a time in a lush forest lived a clever crow named Corvus. The forest, vibrant with life, was suffering from a severe drought. Streams had dried up, and water had become scarce.

Corvus spotted a pot of water among rocks, but the water was too low for his beak. Benny the Beaver, Lily the Rabbit, and Tara the Turtle gathered around, their hope rising at the sight of water.

Corvus, realizing the pot was too heavy to tilt, started pondering a solution. The water was tantalizingly close but unreachable due to its depth.

'How can we get the water out?' asked Benny, looking at Corvus with anticipation. Lily and Tara too looked at him, hoping his intelligence could save them.

Corvus hopped away silently, leaving his friends confused. He was known for his clever solutions, and this silence was unlike him.

He soon returned, carrying a pebble in his beak. The others watched him curiously as he dropped the pebble into the pot. The water level rose slightly.

Corvus repeated the action, each pebble raising the water level a bit more. The idea was simple and yet brilliant, a testament to Corvus's intelligence.

Excitement filled the air as the animals watched Corvus. The water was now close enough for Corvus to drink. He stepped aside, inviting his friends to quench their thirst.

Benny, Lily, and Tara approached the pot and drank the water gratefully. Their eyes sparkled with relief and gratitude as they quenched their thirst.

Corvus watched his friends, a sense of satisfaction filling him. He had once again used his intelligence to solve a problem that seemed impossible.

The forest seemed to breathe a sigh of relief as its inhabitants found a way to survive the drought. They all thanked Corvus for his clever thinking.

As the sun set, the forest came alive with the sounds of joyful animals. They knew they could count on each other and their clever friend Corvus to face any challenge.
