In a lively forest, a fox named Karataka woke up feeling very hungry. He decided to go out and search for food. His eyes scanned the surroundings for anything to eat.

A crow named Kapinjala sat perched on a high branch of a tree. He had found a large piece of bread and held it proudly in his beak, anticipating a delicious meal.

Karataka spotted Kapinjala with the bread. His mouth watered at the sight. Quickly, he formulated a plan to acquire the bread and approached the tree with a friendly smile.

"Good morning, Kapinjala!" Karataka complimented, "Your feathers are shiny, and your eyes sparkle. I've heard your voice is the most melodious. Would you sing a song for me?"

Flattered, Kapinjala wanted to show off his singing talent. Without thinking, he opened his beak to sing, causing the bread to fall from his grasp.

Quick as lightning, Karataka leaped forward and caught the bread. He savored it, satisfied with his cunning plan. Kapinjala watched in dismay as his breakfast disappeared.

"Thank you, Kapinjala, for the bread. Remember, don't be fooled by flattery," said Karataka with a sly grin, teaching the crow a valuable lesson.

Kapinjala felt foolish for falling for the fox's trick. He realized that he should be wary of those who use sweet words to deceive. He decided to be more careful in the future.
