Once upon a time, there was an old mommy pig who had three little piglets. She didn't have enough food to feed them, so she sent them out to find their own luck.

The first little pig met a man with a bundle of straw. He asked for some to build a house, and the man kindly gave him some straw.

A big, bad wolf came by the straw house and tried to blow it down. The pig refused to let him in, but the wolf huffed and puffed and blew the house down. And then he... ate the pig!

The second little pig met a man with a bundle of sticks. He asked for the sticks to build a house, and the man gave them to him. So, the pig built a house out of sticks.

When the wolf came and asked to be let in, the pig refused. But the wolf huffed and puffed, and blew the stick house down. And then he... ate the second pig!

The third little pig met a man with a load of bricks. The pig asked for the bricks to build a house, and the man gave them to him. So, the pig built a strong house out of bricks.

When the wolf came and asked to be let in, the pig refused again. The wolf tried to blow the house down, but he couldn't.

The wolf tried to trick the pig by offering to show him a field of turnips. But the clever pig had already gathered turnips and was ready for dinner.

The wolf tried again the next day with apples, and then with an invitation to a fair. Each time, the pig outsmarted him.

Finally, the wolf tried to enter the house through the chimney. But the pig had a kettle ready with boiling water.

The wolf fell into the boiling water, and the pig had him for dinner instead! The wolf's tricks had finally failed him.

And so, the clever little pig lived happily ever after in his strong brick house. His cleverness had saved him from the big bad wolf.
