Ken, Betty, and Lizzy were three mischievous children who loved to play at the beach. Every day after school, they would rush home, quickly finish their homework, and then head to the beach with their beach toys.

Their parents always warned them to be careful and to listen to the lifeguard's instructions. However, the children were too engrossed in their games and adventures to pay any heed.

One day, they decided to build a sandcastle near the water. Despite their parents telling them it was too close to the water, they didn't listen.

They began to build the biggest sandcastle they had ever made. They were so excited and proud of their creation. But their happiness was short-lived.

Suddenly, a big wave came crashing onto the shore. The children watched in horror as their beautiful sandcastle was washed away.

They were upset but more than that, they were scared. The wave had come too close for comfort. They realized their parents were right and they should have listened.

The next day, they apologized to their parents for not listening. They promised to always follow their advice in the future. Their parents hugged them and forgave them.

After that incident, Ken, Betty, and Lizzy were more cautious. They still enjoyed their beach adventures but always made sure they were safe.

They learned that it's important to listen to their parents and elders. They understood that their parents' advice was for their own good.

From then on, every time they went to the beach, they would remember the day their sandcastle was washed away and smile. It was a lesson they would never forget.
